Achche Din Kab Aur Kaise Aayenge?

Achche Din Kab Aur Kaise Aayenge?

He seems sleeping on all the issues.

I remained critical about the way Narendra Modi government functions not because I don’t like him but the way he works and working for the country. In science WORK DONE is calculated by multiplying FORCE with DISTANCE (W = FD) which means the amount of work done is known by seeing the effect of the force applied in changing something. If we judge his work done on this simple formula we saw he has done nothing which has brought drastic change in the country or in its people.

Let’s look at few of his pet projects.

  1.  Swach Bharat: Swach Bharat is repackaging of Manmohan Singh’s Nirmal Bharat with more emphasis on photo op and publicity. But still as I walk in the capital of the country I can see garbage all around and if this is the case with the Metro city we can judge the situation of rest o of the country. The condition of the people who are responsible for cleanliness has not improved. There jobs are still on contract basis. There is no one questioning their work done. So unless these things would be considered this will remain a dream.
  2.  Economy: He says he will bring ‘Achche Din’ or good days to the people but his most    important steps of improving economy of the country namely Demonetization and Goods & Service Tax (GST) has done nothing for the uplift of economy. Demonetization didn’t bring back Black Money, didn’t stop terrorism and naxalism, didn’t stop fake currency and neither brought assurance to common people that there money is safe in banks. GST on the other hand reduced taxes for the big corporate but put small businessman in trouble by increasing their cost of production.
  3. Corruption: The biggest issue of ‘Na Khaunga Na Khanedunga’ also failed when he said nothing on running away of people like Vijay Mallaya, Mehul Choksi and Neerav Modi. His silence on Rafale Deal scam is also a question mark on his commitment of curbing corruption. All evidences like bringing in Ambani’s name, reducing aircraft from 126 to just 36, etc are against him and his government but his indifference to the issue of clarifying his stand shows his weakness in dealing with corruption. On many other corruption issues he said just nothing which is irritating.
  4.  Farmers: He spoke many times about farmers’ condition and his commitment to improve this but they are not even allowed to raise their demands by entering into the capital of the country. They were stopped by using force on International Day of Non-Violence. Low MSP, high Diesel price, expensive cost of production all has worsen there condition.
There are more issues like Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas but we have seen crime against Dalits and minorities has increased in his tenure and he is seen following twitter handles that spread hatred for particular caste, community, religion and people with different views. His Rs 15 lac in each account slogan proved mere ‘Jumla’ as accepted by them. Jan Dhan accounts were opened but most of them are empty. Continuous falling of Rupee and increasing of petrol and diesel price daily is also his big failures because he used to criticize Congress government on these issues.

These entire things and his unwanted boosting of self have decreased his influence on me and many others I am seeing around. Reducing every debate to Hindu-Muslim has just increased hatred in people’s mind. I can just say GOD SAVE INDIA.

Kashmir Issue and Ram Mandir

Kashmir Issue and Ram Mandir

From last 30 years two issues are making headlines in Indian media: Kashmir problem and Ayodhya Ram Mandir. India is dealing with both the issues almost from independence and even before that because Babri Masjid issue was also in the list of concern of British India and ownership of Kashmir was always discussed with the last ruler of state Raja Hari Singh. Let’s not go much in the core and history of both the issues but one thing we can conclude from the developments of last 30 years is that both the issues are making mockery of Indian democracy arriving in the limelight on every onset of General elections or elections in the Hindi speaking belt.

There are issues through which political parties played through the emotions of people mostly in the northern India and these two are the leaders of most famous propaganda technique. Observe closely and you will find that people who are speaking of article 370, Kashmir constitution and relation of army with Kashmiris are not aware of the ground reality there; they are not even close to the people living there. One thing which can I deduce is that government of India, government of Pakistan and the separatist no one has an authentic solution of the situation but when things were at peace people are willing to discuss out the solution or the midway of all these problems. Biggest problem is that Indian government is not willing to accept Kashmir as disputed territory in spite of the fact it was not ruled by Indian constitution and the huge army is deployed there to maintain peace.

The recent development of breaking away of PDP-BJP coalition also points in the direction that right now no set Kashmir policy is available with present government and more use of muscle power only taking away India from people’s heart. Now come to the Ram Mandir issue. India witnessed biggest slur on democracy in independent India with the demolition of Babri Masjid. Age long continuations of harmony broke at that point and make a permanent crack in Hindu-Muslim unity giving way to altercations in the future. But since then the matter is in court and no solution is coming out of the process even when both the parties are ready to accept any court decision.

You can see sadhu and saints coming out in open for demanding Ram Mandir every time elections are round the corner. We really need people and leaders who believe in solution to these problems rather continuing them for electoral gain.

Ye Jo Public Hai Sab Janti Hai - Blog to PM

Ye Jo Public Hai Sab Janti Hai - Blog to PM

I will start from the beginning when our Prime Minister started saying that he will make India Great Again. For me and many who think like me India is and was great from the time we know it and that greatness not depends on any party’s or person’s way of leading the country. From the last four years I have seen some prominent changes in your stands as well as motives of your party on important national issues which are responsible for bringing you to the power namely corruption, development and growth of every sector of the society (Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas).

BJP only become a washing machine in these 4 years to wash away the sin of the corrupt by making them as their member. Y.S. Yedurappa of Karnataka accused in mining scam, Mukul Roy of TMC from Bengal accused in Narada sting case, Himanta Biswa Sarma now Assam Chief Minister is accused in water scam in the state, Narayan Rane another corrupt politician from Maharashtra also joined BJP. The list is long and disheartening for the people who thought you have ‘Zero Tolerance’ against the corruption.

Apart from this your silence on corruption issues and on frauds done by people like Vijay Malaya, Lalit Modi and the recent one Nirav Modi who did scams and easily flew the country pinches the large number of people who brought you because they were frustrated by the corruption of the Congress.  Corruption is and will remain the biggest challenge for growth and development. Government sanctions money for various developmental projects but it was leaked by the officials in between in collaboration with politicians. In the years you are ruling the country I have not seen any strong step on curbing corruption and 'Na Khaunga Na Khanedunga' also become 'Jumla' like many of your promises.

There is a saying that charity begins at home. You should first make political party donations transparent and with the majority and conviction you say you have against the corruption you can bring political parties under RTI act and can make all cash donations illegal. If any unaccounted money is disclosed with the party and the people associated with it they must restricted to fight any election. RTI and Lokpal brought by Congress are two main tools against corruption but there are reports which show your government has weakened the institutions and there is no Lokpal appointed even in four years of your power.

I hope my this #BlogToPM stir some serious discussion on curbing corruption in the mind of PM.

Welcome to NEW INDIA

Welcome to NEW INDIA

New India Flag Without Green Color

New India has new traits and we welcome you to this. The country still stretches from Kashmir to Kanyakumari from north to south and from Arunanchal Pradesh to Gujarat from east to west but I advise you to avoid going to Kashmir as we don’t know when situation go out of control and you find yourself between security personal and stone pelters tussle. As far as Arunanchal is concerned with China we can resolve the problem as we are doing in Doklam area.

Bow to cows as you see them in any corner of the country eating waste plastic garbage or just roaming on busy roads. Refer Patanjali of Baba Ramdev before using any cow product they may have absolute copyright to it. If you see them injured in state like Uttar Pradesh where infants death rate is high in August or in Madhya Pradesh where farmers income is projected to be incraesing every election year you can even call ambulance to hospitals designated to Mother. Also accompany cows on their way to Aadhar enrollment even if you are not getting Aadhar benefits due to erased finger prints by manual labor jobs.

We have completely changed. Now we can’t tolerate people different to us. We beat them easily and even can kill them whether they are foreigners, people from different faith, different caste, color or even tribal people who don’t belong to us are not spared; the highest literary rate state Kerala is also not far behind in doing so. We are casual in our approach and our video of killings goes viral easily with many supporters instigating us to do so more often. Lynching and killing I must say should be made our national past time.

In new India we believe in non-existence of people doing fraud with us. We send them either Lalit Modi, Vijay Mallaya, Nirav Modi, etc to safe foreign countries so that they can’t pollute our country with their dirty corruption. Yes you are right we have zero tolerance to corruption so we either take them in ruling party or send them outside country. Now our main focus is not lowering GDP, decreasing tax collection, Rupee price falling or things like that but to find ways to erase Muslims from our history. We are doing great research on this field and even changed winners of few battles in the past.

Please come and visit a PROPOSED HINDU NATION and feel free to share other feedback I have missed here. We are experts in making a mountain out of a small stone so praise us little and we can do the rest. Good Bye. God Bless India,

Wired

Wired

News website The Wire has left entire BJP and central government running to defend Jay Amitbhai Shah son of Bhartiya Janata Party president Amit Shah. According to website report by journalist Rohini Singh the turnover of a company owned by Jay Amitbhai Shah increased 16,000 times over in the year following the election of Narendra Modi as prime minister and the elevation of his father to the post of party president, filings with the Registrar of Companies (RoC) show.

It is not shocking that relatives of people in power always show increase in their wealth but it is blow to voters imagination when happened in the vicinity of high rank leader and close aid of Prime Minister who proclaimed ‘Na Khaunga Na Khane Dunga’ (Neither will I eat nor I let others eat) regarding corruption money. Before any clarification from Jay Shah or his company, union Rail Minister Piyush Goel had seen announcing defamation case of Rs 100 cr against the website. Later many spokesperson, ministers also seen defending Jay Shah on TV or social media. The episode reminded me a previous incident of Robert Vadera (son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi) land deal expose in which all Congress party was doing the same. It is notable that same journalist exposed Robert Vadera story.

The prime minister who is too vocal regarding each issue when remain silent in corruption connected to own party make me lost the trust in his ability of showing clean politics. Why didn't he set an example to announce inquiry into the matter. Sadly his 'Mann Ki Baat' never audible in such matters. Neither in earlier allegation of Vyapam Scam by Madhya Pradesh government nor Lalitgate controversy involving Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhra Raje. His silence also irked during violence by cow vigilantes or dalit abusing. It is possible that story has another side too and party instead of defending Jay Shah with defamation case reveal that side of the story if any. I salute Rohini Singh and The Wire for bringing in that story when most of the media is boot licking the government. Jay Amit Shah, Amit Shah and Modi government has to come out clean from the controversy to regain the lost trust in them. Till then God Bless India.

Justice Killed - Failed Police System.

Justice Killed - Failed Police System

Only the statement ‘Justice Delayed Is Justice Denied’ is true but also the statement ‘Pressure- less Police Probe for Justice’ is true.  Unless & until police will do a fair probe they can’t nab the true criminal. We have seen earlier in Jessica Lal Murder Case where weak charge sheet, improper investigation stretched the case too long and only after media hype the justice was served. In Arushi murder case too police theory was questioned because they conduct half-hearted investigation and framed her parents for the murder. But various experts, books, film on the subject question many aspects of the investigation which looks genuine and appears neglected by the investigators.

Pehlu Khan a milkman from Alwar district, Rajasthan who was lynched in April this year by so called ‘Gaurakshaks in mob violence by them. He named 6 people in dying declaration which are now not found guilty by police. What is this if not biased approach in the investigation? If we believe police then No One Killed Pehlu Khan. Police has time and again criticized for their roles of favored investigation either for political pressure or to silence media trials but this every time has killed the justice. Why government can’t free police system as in many parts of the world? Dependence of them on political class for promotions, salary increment has made them puppets in their hand thus the people in the department who work honestly also denied what they deserved.
The police system is such that honest gets punished and corrupt enjoys the perk. Another case of police laps also came in the light with tragic death of Pradyuman a seven year old Ryan International School – Gurugram student.

Few days back he was found murdered in school toilet. As soon as news broke out there was huge public and media pressure to catch the criminal. In haste school bus conductor was arrested by the police. Although he has confessed the crime and their are possibilities that he is the killer but some simple observations make me believe he was made a scapegoat.
  1. How an outside staff entered children’s toilet without any objection?
  2. Why Pradyuman brought to hospital by school after almost one hour of the attack? (He was killed around 7.30 and arrived at hospital at around 8.40 as seen in hospital CCTV).
  3. Why people attended Pradyuman , gardener, teachers, other staff not questioned by the police?
  4. No eyewitness or any evidence against the bus conductor Ashok which make his case weak in court?
  5. Police claims of sexual abuse was denied by postmortem report which further weaken police case.
  6. Why Ashok didn't try to run away?
These and many other questions like why Ashok carrying the knife inside school, why school reported the case late, etc and police’s ignorance of all these questions and evidences act as justice killer. I appeal CBI probe in both Pehlu Khan and Pradyuman murder case with the hope that highest investigation agency will work for truth and justice. In Pradyuman case school has broken the trust of the parents to ensure safety of their ward which makes them equal culprit as any murderer. Hope Justice Prevailed in both these cases.

An Ode To Teachers

An Ode To Teachers.

Teachers play an important role in shaping our life. If you are among privileged who took formal education or even when you are among the non-educated there are people in your life who teach you something or the other in course of journey of life. Apart from life I have learnt many things from many teachers I encountered in life whether it’s about subject like Science, History, Literature, Geography or things helpful in daily life which make us more experience.

Naming any one teacher will devalue the contribution of others. So I restrict myself from naming anybody and before going further with the topic I like to remember my English teacher whose death news I have heard recently. He taught me English from Seventh to Tenth class. He depends on his life experiences while teaching than on bookish knowledge. We used to enjoy his classes. I was a bright student and teacher’s favorite but on two occasions in my school life I got slapped. Once in first class when as a monitor I slapped somebody so hard that his head struck the wall and started bleeding. Principle madam then slapped me for wrongful use of power. Another instance was of sixth class. Here our group of four friends was teasing somebody from many days every time. One day he complained to the Science teacher who was our favorite. She slapped others and me in disappointment because we broke her trust. After these incidents I avoid slapping people or teasing in a way that hurts them.

Something we also learn by ourselves from life’s experiences. Those moments make us stronger by inculcating things required by us to face that problem. I was upset/broken after my father’s death and when I read my poems around that period they are all sad, related to death and of motivations to come out of that pain of loss. This situation taught me many things. Learning is a lifelong process and you must not stop it to be a better human being. You may also learn things by observing behavior of total strangers, or even more TV shows and movies. So keep on learning throughout your life. Again I would like to thank my teachers to be part of my life and teaching us to face the world.  Also remember Dr S. Radhakrishnan whose birth anniversary in the form of Teacher’s Day give us chance to remember our teachers. He was a great educationist and teacher. HAPPY TEACHER’S DAY

'Main Chahe Jo Karun Meri Marzi' - Right To Privacy

'Main Chahe Jo Karun Meri Marzi' - Right To Privacy

In a unanimous ruling, a nine-judge bench of the Supreme Court on Thursday upheld the right to privacy as a fundamental right under the Constitution. The top court overruled the previous judgments in the M P Sharma and Kharak Singh cases, which had found that the right to privacy was not protected by the Constitution. The bench observed that privacy is intrinsic to freedom of life and personal liberty guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution.(From The Indian Express)

The decision is instrumental because central government was fighting against it. They were of the opinion that government has full right over the body of the citizen in lieu of the grants given to them. They believed that privacy is an elite class issue and economic backward class needs food more than privacy which was completely overruled by the bench saying the constitution grants this right in every other right and even at the places where it has maintained the Golden Silence. The ruling is historical and will effect other pending cases. First being the provision of making Aadhar mandatory. By doing so government want to keep surveillance on each individual without his or her consent. The issue of removing article 377 which deals with rights of homosexuals will now be seen in a new light. Beef Ban, Liquor Ban, Particular dress code orders and many more such issues are getting new life with this judgement.

The citizen with this milestone judgement has won against the government and its ideas of suppressing individualistic choices. 'Main Chahe Ye Karun Main Chahe Wo Karun Meri Marzi' but off course it is not absolute and like other rights has limitations under particular situations. This is second ruling in this week after Instant Triple Talaq verdict which has made our democracy stronger. Not America , not Europe but India has shown the way to the world this time. I am sure this will increase the pressure on other world governments to grant this right to its people. The governments usually deny this right because it makes people stronger than the government. But in democracy people should always be stronger to question government at each step.

Now we can do whatever we like keeping in mind well being of others. It is my right to choose who to vote, which ideology to follow, who to marry and so on. Government neither indicate not interfere in my these decisions by bribing or beating or forcing me. India is great. Till next post God Bless India.

Mera Bharat Mahan?

Mera Bharat Mahan?

Country is going down at each front except 'Divide & Rule'

Unique Identification Numbers for cows, reviving lost river Saraswati by filling its so called route with artificial water, editing textbooks to change name of discoverers and inventors with ancient sages, Anti-Romeo Police Squad to arrest couples roaming on UP roads or meeting at some public parks, demolition of achievements of earlier government (Hall of Nation & Hall of Industries in Pragrati Maidan, Delhi) , name changing of roads, airports and cities, etc. These and many other such things right now are the priorities of current right wing BJP governments in nation and in states.

I wouldn’t have any problems with these things if government was doing enough for farmers, soldiers and poor Indians. I won’t point out at these things even when internal security is not at risk. But I have to point out these things because we have no CRPF chief for two months the agency which losing its life at every troubled area of the country recently been in Sukhma, Chattisgarh where 26 CRPF soldiers killed by Naxals, no Central Information Commissioner the head of RTI agency responsible for transparent governance. Moreover this agency is going to tweak down by government with some new guidelines. Forget about the Lokpal head, the movement for which Anna Hazare left his hometown and arrived in New Delhi to target central government which created nationwide steer is nowhere in place for last three years.

Kashmir is out of control, intelligence failure in each Naxal attack, Gau Rakshaks (Cow vigilantes) violence increasing, attacks on minorities all these things shows weakening internal security. Job creation is below the expectation and the condition of the farmers is also not very good resulting in increased suicide cases. How we can forget these things in garb of fake nationalism which has nothing to do with nation? The nation is suffering badly from all sides which even foreign media has pointed in several occasions. No one knows how worse situation will become in coming months if things are not controlled properly.

Only the clean image and oratory skills of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has polished with the time which BJP is using as a shield to cover its shortcomings and attract the voters who still have faith in him for India’s transformation. I think not to speak and write about the current governments shortcomings but I am unable to keep mum at instance of breaking of national and social fabric of the country. The society is divided into two parts now more than any other time in the recent history of India. Only we the people by raising our voices to these things can curb such things and make the government accountable for its shortcomings. It is much needed now. GOD BLESS INDIA.

Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander

Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander

The result of the assembly seats of five states i.e Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur, Punjab and Goa stood at 2 – 3 where Modi’s BJP won Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand with a humongous majority while Congress clean sweeps Punjab and has an edge in both Goa & Manipur which indicates they are likely to form government there. In Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand there is clear advantage Narender Modi as he single handily lead the campaign and sidelined every opposition. Congress – Samajwadi Party alliance against Narendra Modi’s Bhartiya Janata Party failed miserably even though his speeches, his actions were labeled by the opposition as ways of polarizing the people of the state.

Punjab witnessed victory of Capatain Amrinder Singh more than the Congress party who’s Vice President Rahul Gandhi was initially against fielding him as the Chief Minister. In Manipur Congress’s Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh succeeded in securing his fourth term as the chief minister. Irom Sharmila lost to him pathetically. The lady who gave all his life to the cause of the people can’t secure even hundred votes. The surprise in Manipur is the tremendous debut of BJP which won twenty one seats. Uttarakhand also gave clear majority to BJP, even the rebel MLA’s didn’t post any threat to the party there. Aam Aadmi Party performed poorly both in Goa and Punjab. In Goa it didn’t even open its account and there Punjab performance was poor than in the Lok Sabha elections of 2014.

These elections have some teachings not only for the people who lost and won but for all of us. I have tried to include them in this list:

  • Never order DJ and sweets believing on Exit polls. If AAP has Prevented Early Excitement they would have save themselves from embarrassment in public and media.
  • Victory is important and not the way how you have earned it. We have learned all our lives that it is important to play fairly than to win by wrong means but Prime Minister Modi proved it wrong. His Shamshaan-Kabristaan remark was purely communal, without permit road show in Varanasi was also wrong so is the conduct of some of his party people (Kasab remark) to polarize the election. But in the end they won and these issues didn't matter now.
  • Live your own life that's what we learn from the struggle and failure of Irom Sharmila. The iron lady of Manipur who was on the longest hunger strike to protest against brutalities of AFSPA even when she has wished to have a family live. She didn't even secure more than 90 votes. She wanted to work for her people but what she has earned is discouraging for her. NOTA votes were higher than her votes.
  •  Listen to everyone before making your opinion. If Rahul Gandhi would not settle on Amrinder Singh the party wouldn't have won the elections.
  • Young is through attitude and not through age. Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav who were projecting them as young leaders failed to perform against dynamic, energetic Narender Modi.
  • Laugh on other's pain. That is the biggest lesson of this elections. When everybody believed that demonetization which has affected farmers, laborers, small businesses badly would have negative effect on election results instead becomes fruitful for BJP because poor was happy to face its pain because those who have money are in trouble. Strange thinking isn't it?
  • Grapes are sour. Mayawati's claims after defeat that EVMs were tempered without proof establish this saying again.
Elections will come and teach us something always. This is the flavor of democracy that somebody wins and somebody loses. I hope those who are forming government do good for the people and the country. Till next post God Bless India.

Hate the Hate

Hate the Hate

'Hate the Hate or It Will Destroy the Entire Race'

The business of hate is prevailing around the world and we may understand it in few years time but until then it will be too late for some to come back to love. I am not saying it because three Indians killed recently in USA due to hate crimes where killers said them to ‘Go Back To Your Countries’ after ban on immigrants of certain nation is imposed by President Donald Trump but because such crimes are rampant in all parts of the world.

Be it atrocities on Rohingya Muslims in Burma, common Syrians in Syria, Immigrants and Black killings in USA and Europe, Hindu killings in Bangladesh, Americans killing in many Middle eastern countries, attacks and killings on North-East Indian, minorities, Dalits and Muslims in India. These all are due to hate. These crimes has arose from teaching people that one is better than the other and that other don’t belong to us who are better. Weather it is for people of some color, religion, region or for people who eat differently, who behave differently, who look different from us and who are not the same like majority. These people or organizations play victim card that their existence is threatened by some people and if those people/religion must not be stopped than it perish them. If such things happening they highlight it many folds and if nothing of that sort is available they will create situation for their benefits.

The danger of this situation is a divided world and divided humanity. We see the pains of few and neglect the sufferings of others. We inculcate in this way a habit of hatred and hatred will never give rise to love it will only open gates for more hatred which then will not see the color/religion/region of the victim at the time of attack. The people who can hate easily can hate anybody and not the others created by them. What Donald Trump has started is ongoing in India and many parts of the world for years and since there were not many strong voices against them it has increased to such an extent. With President of one of the biggest country in the world is endorsing it this is spreading like an epidemic now.

The people of America has condemned such hatred since the time Donald Trump used it in his presidential campaign but his win suggests that majority supports this idea. Similar victories are happening and have happened in last few years in many parts of the world. The growing unemployment has given a proper breeding ground for spread of this decease. The growth models are not people centric which are worsening the situation further. The only solution is Love and compassion for each other. It’s time we promote Universal Brotherhood and Humanity to save the world from this disease. God Bless the World.

Taste of Love

Taste of Love

Those who love live in a different dimension. Recent news from two different parts of the world caught my attention this week which reaffirm this belief. Their love surpasses the weirdness involved. It again reminds you that Love Is Blind and it Requires No Language to Communicate.

The one story is from America of marriage of 24 year old girl with 68 year old man. This is not something that has happened for the first time but what they discovered while watching the old man's family album I am sure never happened before. The girl found her father's childhood picture in the old man’s album with other children and her grandmother. The old man told her that woman was her first wife and the children in it were theirs. He added that she left somewhere with her children which remained untraceable even after laborious search by him. That makes old man the young wife's grandfather. The news didn't mention the confusion after that but we can imagine the turmoil in that girl's mind. That news would have snatch away the ground beneath the girl’s feet but will not able to snatch away their love which has now perhaps changed from Husband-Wife Love to Grandfather-Granddaughter affection. A strange relation isn’t it.

The second story is lovely one about the connection between people of two nationalities. A vlogger from America and a teenage boy from conservative South Arabia started talking through video chat online. They both were unaware of each other's languages yet through their gestures, expressions, emotions and some broken language understand each other. When their conversation video went viral and more than 60 billion people watched, laughed and also appreciated them the boy was arrested by Saudi officials for breaking the rules of the conservative society which don't allow intermingling of unknown men and women. He was arrested and according to Saudi law may get two-three years imprisonment. A strange law isn’t it. I hope they met in a different scenario after these years and share this unique human bond without any fear.

I will never know what will be the future of these stories unless newspaper will report it but reading them made me think about this stories and diverted my attention from fear, hatred and war. Expect it do the same for you.

At Least Punish The Rapists.

At Least Punish The Rapists.

The rape was not a severely punishable offence until the Delhi gang-rape of December 2012 of Jyoti Singh which not only opened government’s eyes towards the cruelties of rape but stirred the nation’s conscience to raise their voice against the crime. The people’s agitation resulted in quick arrest of her rapists and forced the government to amend the rape law to grant up to death penalty to the rapists. The media spotlight on rape crimes ended with this case along with the anger and frustration in the common people. The fact is those rapists are still in the jail enjoying government’s hospitality and the rape crime or crime against women having increased manifold since 2012.

What has happened few days back (July 2016) with a family going to Shahjahanpur on Delhi-Kanpur highway near Bulendshehar took the rape crime to another level. The dacoits not only looted the people in that car but gang-raped a mother and her daughter by tying her husband –son with ropes. What shocks more is the non working of emergency police helpline no: 100 in that area. The fearless rapists escaped easily when there was a police post just hundred meters away from the place where the incident happened. Help reached them after five hours of the crime. My question is what made these rapists so fearless? The answer is weak justice system. The courts which are safeguarding our constitution have failed in assuring justice in such cases due to incompetent police system and the loopholes left in every law by the lawmakers.

Rapists knew that there lawyers somehow manipulate the case to their favor or stretch it too much that media’s attention will divert somewhere else thus public’s concern towards the rape victim will also end and they will easily escape the jail term. The countries where hard punishments are given for any crime timely will report fewer crimes. Saudi Arab for instance cut hands for theft, public stoning for rapist so such crimes are almost negligible there. Even in China if rape is confirmed, the rapist is punished to death within one hour of conviction. Why India can’t make such strong laws? The answer lies with the parliament where one third MPs are criminals, how can they make laws to punish themselves? In most of the rape cases also we see involvement of MPs, MLAs, councilors, policemen or their family members or associates who never get punished. They roam freely with law on their side result of which we see such heinous crimes daily.

Whether an 80 years old women or a two year old child nobody is save in this great country from these sick minded criminals. The so called nationalists who feel offended when someone criticize government or army or religions dig themselves under layers when crime against women happens. There is no study in all these years on rapists to know why they rape. One we all know is the patriarchal mindset of our society which looks women as inferior to men even though they are ahead or shoulder to shoulder in every field of male dominance.

Lessons on respecting a woman/girl should be given to boys first at their homes and then in the schools. Studies should be conducted on rapists to know what type of people usually indulge in this crime and then such people prone to rape must be visited by councilors. Education should reach every nook and corner of the country and most importantly laws should be strengthened so that rapists get punished to spread fear in potential rapists.

Media : Speak or Not to Speak

Media : Speak or Not to Speak

Journalism or media as it is called today is known as the fourth pillar of democracy. It keeps a check on government’s activities and maintains a balance in reporting things. It highlights any wrongdoing anywhere in the country or the world so that the associate agency can take action against the evil doers. It helps in forming public opinion on things of local and national importance. Journalists maintain a non-biased way of reporting things by not including their personal views about a particular topic.

All above mentioned things about media may sound funny if you look at today’s journalism and journalists because no where you see them helping in making public opinion but instead they manipulate public opinion according to their political affiliation. Calm and balanced news anchors are difficult to see. Even those you think are honest and fair try to impose their views due to pressures from their bosses in the media houses. The masses today go to TV news channel for the information but the information there is either one sided or based on prejudice. Some news anchors acts as police, lawyer and judge at the same time. They report on speculations and sensationalize the news. The news has now become entertainment.

The news becoming entertainment is an attack on our rights for seeking truthful information. Recently Kashmir media was gagged for two days to not report on Kashmir problem while the national media was let loose to deliver any kind of news they want. Innocents were made culprits while culprits turned messiah. The new trend of labeling anyone anti-national for speaking against the government’s policies has also gathered followers. This new way has divided the nation and creating fear among those who wants to speak truth. These ways of silencing the opinions will only kill democracy.

Media should act responsibly. They should know when/what to speak and when/what not. This doesn’t mean any kinds of curb on journalism but free and fair journalism without any pressure from the government and its agencies. The British investigations against Tony Blair revealed how he acted against decision of his party, opposition and people to declare war on Iraq only because of the vested interest of some media houses that supported him and helped making an environment of war against Iraq with America. All news of weapons of mass destruction was false which destroyed Iraq and became the precursor of ISIS.

This is my appeal to all associated with the news agencies, media houses and journalism to listen to your conscience before listening to your money making bosses. Not only India but the world needs truthful journalism for betterment of the world.

Heaven Turned Hell Again

Heaven Turned Hell Again

The killing of Hizbul Mujahidin commander Burhan Wani triggered widespread protests in the Kashmir valley against the armed forces and the government. Burhan Wani was that face of terrorism which glamorized his activities by openly challenging authorities through his social media posts. He was just 23 when he killed by the armed forces in an encounter few days ago. Neither the army nor the government estimated the support he received during his funeral and the protests afterwards which have killed more than 30 Kashmiri and injured around 300 people. The situation is tense and government is holding high level meetings to control the situation.

It seems the government and authorities are running away from the reality of the Kashmir issue. The youth which was entering in mainstream society through education till few years back has again turned towards militancy and violence. The current BJP-RSS/PDP government’s conflict of interest in dealing with the issues related to the valley has increased the discontentment in the Kashmiri Youth. The focus which was tilted towards peace talks, disarmament of youth, education in the valley, removal of AFSPA (Armed Forces Special Protection Act), etc in last seven or eight years has now shifted towards controversial issues of Article 370, Beef Ban, separate colonies for soldiers and Kashmiri Pandits, Love Jihad, etc in the last two and a half year.

The ruling BJP party also using the Kashmir issue as a tool for political gains during elections in the northern states of UP, Bihar and Punjab which is further worsening the situation. Kashmiri students are targeted in parts of mainland India which is diverting them more towards the separatist’s ideology. The discontentment, the deprivation and the feeling of alienation among the youth found Burhan Wani as the face of challenge to the authorities and they started seeing them as hero whose way looks right to them. His daredevilry of looking in the eyes of the government and the army charmed many young Kashmiris to follow his path. Astonishingly the new breed of militants security forces believed are from Indian origin and even then government failed to track their location through social media handles neither they knew the source of arms available to them.

The solution lies in facing and accepting the reality that Kashmir is a disputed territory part of which is ruled by Pakistan and another part by India. It should also be accepted that longer enforcement of AFSPA in Kashmir like in north-eastern states has an adverse effect on people of these areas. The army atrocities in garb of maintaining order have ruined many families in these areas. The interaction with the youth should be the priority along with the talks between the two nations on the one hand and with the separatists on the other hand. The people in position of power should restrain themselves to talk on this crucial Kashmir issue without prior thinking. The Kashmir right now is burning; putting more oil to the fire with hate speeches will spread the flames of hate to the entire nation. Pray for Kashmir, Pray for India.

Horses To Go For Species Change Operation

Horses To Go For Species Change Operation

Shaktimaan the police horse who was seriously injured during BJP protest in Dehradun is now demanding a species change operation. After amputation of his leg Shaktimaan and other police horses are demanding species change from horses to cows. While they were being attacked for being in police force 'Gau Raksha Samiti' of different states are attacking people for harming cows. They too were demanding such kind of Z plus security in which instead of harming them humans would kill humans.

A horse on promise of anonymity has revealed that they are in touch of doctors in America for this operation. He referred to Jharkhand incident where two cattle traders were hanged to death for protecting cows as the precursor of this idea. He added that people are attacking them while they are going to the extent of killing for saving cows. He also told us about their application for government aid for this operation.

According to some sources they will head to US once Shaktimaan's recovers from his injury. Other animals like dogs, bulls, buffaloes, etc are also discussing this option for respect in this cows' world. Experts believed if the condition persist some humans may also opt for this operation.

Riotous Reservation

Riotous Reservation

Reservation is an arrangement in Indian constitution which is committed to provide a level playing field for backward and underprivileged sections of the society. With time this arrangement became a vote guarantee scheme for the political parties and on their behest at several occasion this dirty politics have turned into bloodbaths. The reservation system on the other hand became so inept with the changing scenarios that its benefits never reached underprivileged and backward classes which resulted in more exploitation of these classes along with creation of uneven society.

Jat Reservation demand was not new and such protests which have tendency to go violent were common occurrence from last so many years but this time Haryana government failed in controlling the agitators. The protest was not a mere protest but an organised mob rampantly attacking, looting and burning railway stations, police stations, buses, cars, trucks, malls, shops, etc, they also raped women during their agitation. Protesters even attacked army men and blocked their entry which forced army to open fire on them. The way these armed agitators were leading the protest in a planned manner were also hinting towards a backdoor organizer. Pressurizing government by cutting Delhi's food and water supply not looked like mob thinking. Haryana government’s wrong estimation of the intensity of the Jat movement made it uncontrolled. Victims of this violence accused police and government inaction behind the heightened protesters attacks.

Comments of BJP MP Ram Saini about Jats added fuel to the fire which turned reservation movement into inter caste fighting. The protesters selectively destroyed non-Jats establishments. The agitation only ended when state government promised reservation and central government agreed to form a committee for the issue. This agitation episode and its outcome have set a wrong example by succumbing to the demands of violent agitators. Now others will also resort to such extreme protests while demanding anything from the government. Those behind the violence must be identified and punished harshly to teach a lesson to all those who think nothing wrong in damaging national property for personal gains. Armed mob of thousands destroying national property on state roads and streets are more dangerous for country's integrity than some vague slogans by a bunch of people in a city corner.

This act of violence should be an eye opener not only for government but for all political parties who for time and again have used reservation to ensure their votes. In present political and social environment removing reservation is not possible but it is necessary to have different look to reservation process. It must be ensured that its benefits reach to the one for which it was intended. There are many upper caste people who make fake caste certificates for getting benefits of reservation depriving lower castes from its advantages and even in the lower castes only a small section is getting help through reservation. Most of all we must identify ourselves as Indians first and then with some caste, religion, region or race. National interest is higher than personal gains. Till next post God Bless India.

Fragile Religious Sentiments

Fragile Religious Sentiments

"Kindness is a mark of faith, whoever is not kind has no faith." - Prophet Mohammad

Fragile religious sentiments or ignorance of the followers? Basic principle of every religion is almost same. All religions have same teachings but different gods it’s like so many different companies making same product with a different name. Except some beliefs every religion teaches us the same kindness, humanity, caring and forgiveness. Messengers, gods, prophets or anyone related to any religion are figures of idealism. Their lives are examples to be followed by their believers.

Now I come back to my question fragile religious sentiments or ignorance of the followers? Followers of every religion, sect or community get offended easily if someone criticizes their religious beliefs it is because of their ignorance they don't argue with criticizers instead try to abuse or physically hurt or kill the criticizers. Situation became out of control when so called torchbearer aka god-mans, mediators between god and follower took things in their hands. They instigate ignorant believers into doing things which appease them and their political allies.

Recently Kiku Sharda famous comedian best known for his role as Gulgule in Sab TV's FIR and Palak in Colors' Comedy Knights with Kapil arrested for mimicking Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh of Dera Sacha Sauda. Baba's followers get hurt seeing him mimic their sacred leader. What about us who hurt seeing him as hero on silver screen? Interestingly Baba himself is seeking pardon from Sikh community for hurting their sentiments by behaving as Guru Gobind Singh.

Muslim community staged nationwide protests because Kamlesh Tiwari member of a right wing Hindu organization defamed Prophet Mohammad. One such protest in Kaliachak of district Malda, West Bengal became violent and some of the protesters set a police station, some BSF vehicles on fire. Last year Hindus were also hurt by the depiction of Hindu Gods in the movie PK and some theaters in many parts of the country were attacked for showing the film. Renowned painter M.F.Husain forced to leave India for improper depiction of Hindu Gods. Christians were offended during release of Da Vinci Code. Sikhs became violent when Guru Granth Sahib was damaged and Prophet Mohammad's cartoon violated Muslim's religious sentiments.

Sometimes I think about futility of all Gods who don't have power to stop their insult. How easy is to make a believer angry? Question his/her god and be ready to face the consequences, your rational thinking may be wrong but not the things written in scriptures long ago?If a religion stops rational thinking, I stop blindly following that religion. It is also strange that those who get offended by questioning/mimicking/representing/drawing/ god or His messengers remain unaffected when His creations suffers. So make beliefs in your god strong and respect His sense of judgment. If what He did is always right than whatever He is doing is also right. Stronger beliefs mean stronger sentiments which wouldn't hurt easily. God Bless Himself, His Followers and India.

Cricket Mein Kuch Kala Hai

Cricket Mein Kuch Kala Hai.

'Where There Is Uncontrolled Money, There Is Also Black Money'

Cricket is an Indian religion without any formal god and temple but yet like religion people showered their praises and hard earned money on unofficial gods and their priests for their love for the game. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is a private entity uncontrolled by any government agency and out of the reach of RTI (Right To Information). In spite of irregularities, immoralities, corruption and unlawful acts in this organisation no political party is bothered to clean it. On the contrary political parties and business tycoons enjoy representation in various state cricket boards nobody knows why and nobody has any objections about it. Hum Saath Saath Hain on such issues.

BJP MP Kirti Azad lost his party membership on raising DDCA (Delhi Districts Cricket Association) corruption issues and alleging Finance Minister Arun Jaitley who headed DDCA during that period for hiding its financial irregularities. Hum Bolega To Bologe Ke Bolta Hai but why a government who said that it is intolerant to corruption not remove the one who has spots of allegations but sacks one who raised corruption issue. Earlier Ajay Makhan of Congress too faced the similar fate when he was demoted from its post of Sports Minister for bringing a bill to regularize the working of BCCI during his tenure in Congress lead UPA 2 government.

Arun Jaitley also filed a defamation case against Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and four other Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders for framing him in DDCA scam. Why? Kyun? If he is innocent he should resign , face an inquiry , come out clean and hurrah! Your opponents fall flat on their face completely exposed in front of people of the country which is bigger than any penalty or punishment. Par Golmaal Hai Bhai Sab Golmaal Hai, our politicians more keen on politicizing the issues than to kill them for always. Remember Babri Mazjid, Godhra riots, 1984 riots, emergency, JP movement, Anna Movement, these and many more issues are brewing in Indian political diaspora to mislead public from real issues of poverty, unemployment and hunger.

Corruption in cricket now is not a new topic, match fixing, money laundering and other economic offenses are commonly reported but sadly no strong action against any culprit ever happens which further encourage these irregularities. Choddo Kal Ki Batein, it's never too late Modi government should set an example, hopefully next year we have better cricketing atmosphere till then God Bless India.

Living In A Gas Chamber

Living In A Gas Chamber

"Living In Delhi Is Like Living In A Gas Chamber" - Delhi High Court

National Capital, crime capital and now pollution capital, Delhi is gaining popularity in all negative things thanks to negligent approach of government authorities and callousness of Delhihites for necessary issues. This statement came from the bench of justices Badar Durrez Ahmed and Sanjeev Sachdeva while reading the action plans filed by the environment ministry and Delhi government on dealing with pollution of Delhi. They said that action plan is not comprehensive as they did not contain specific responsibilities of each authority and the timeline for carrying them out.

Delhi registered almost 1400 vehicles daily which add to the already severe pollution level. The pollution by dust particles comes second after vehicular pollution in making Delhi's air unfit for breathing. Apart from this pollution created by burning of dry leaves by Delhihites, burning of coal in thermal power stations and construction site's dust emission have turned Delhi into a Gas Chamber. According to health surveys in last ten years lung capacity of newborns have decreased in Delhi, respiratory problems have increased up to 65% and now there are more cases of lung cancer as compare to the cases registered 10 years ago.

Rapid urbanization and metro construction have removed large areas of green cover which have never replaced and cared by any agency. Although CNG is used in state Autos and Buses cars are increasing because public transport vehicles not sufficient to cater ever increasing population of Delhi. After high court orders Delhi government have planned to introduce Odd-Even scheme for private vehicles which allows odd and even number cars on alternate days. This plan will reduce vehicles on road by half but with lack of public transport system to incorporate all those who leave their cars there is little hope for success of this plan. The other move of closing down two thermal plants which are not running with their peak capacities will hardly change air quality. Government's have taken steps in haste without proper consultation from experts.

Some immediate and long term measures are required to control pollution:

  1. There is a need to limit cars on Delhi road. Limit the vehicle registered in Delhi. Check and verify parking spaces before giving vehicles.
  2. Government and private both companies and agencies with more than 50 employees should provide buses for transportation. This will not only reduce traffic and pollution but also put an end to VIP culture and make employees more punctual.
  3. The traffic which is not bound to Delhi should not allow to enter Delhi roads. Western and Eastern highway project for this purpose is under construction from last ten years which should be completed as early as possible.
  4. Allow only those supply vehicles in Delhi which uses green fuel or device a system to collect and deliver items from border areas.
  5. Construction sites should take proper measures to reduce spread of pollutants in the atmosphere. Those working in such sites must provide with proper masks. Build elsewhere assemble here formula should adopted which not only reduce the time but offers better quality and reduce pollution.
  6. The condition of public transport should be improved, introduce more buses, mono rail should also be used at small distances, increase metro frequency in peak hours.
  7. Awareness should be spread about ill effects of pollution.
Rich can afford air purifiers but poor don't have that luxury. They face smog directly. Children, elderly and sick people are more prone to ill effects of pollution, they must avoid outing at peak pollution hours of morning and evening. Government alone can't fight this evil, it needs our support to curb pollution. We should work hard to make Delhi air save and fresh for us as well as for coming generations.
