Asaram Bapu

Asaram Bapu is a spiritual leader lives in Ahmedabad of Gujrat State in India. He has many followers, his teachings are valuable to them, they believe in him to the extent that they consider him as equivalent to God. He has lavish ashram's in all over the country for his spiritual teachings and where he give shelter to many homeless and needy people. There are around 350 ashrams where everybody is welcome without any discrimination of race, religion and financial status according to his website. These things really present him in heavenly lights.

But there is another side of him which I would like to mention. He had to him attached so many controversies like land encroachments in Navsari district,in Madhya Pradesh, charges of attempted murder, deaths of children in his ashram, etc. These charges often termed as allegations put on him by his enemies, what is truth behind them is still under probe and it will be unfair to judge him with these charges. But what he said about Delhi Gang rape victim and then what happened during his holi celebrations recently are enough to understand his spirituality. He wasted thousands of litres of water in states where people are facing droughts,he spoke indecently about Delhi Gang rape victim and he never apologized for his actions.

A spiritual leader should think twice before speaking as his teachings influences others, one who believes that a rape victim is equally responsible for what happened to her will only teach disrespect to women among his followers. I don't know why people are so crazy about spiritual gurus, babas and other such godly people in our country, it has become a big business, babas are used politically to influence voters, they are a way to turn black money into white. Every second day there is a news about a fraud baba but still we are crazy about them. Next time if you wants a way to God search inside yourself before going to any guru or baba and the money you wants to give to them use to feed someone hungry.

Cooking Justice

People in India pray not to fall prey to hospitals and courts because once you go there your rest of life will be spent in dates given by them. You can come out of clutches of such hospitals by spending lots of money in private hospitals but for courts there is no hope. People spend there whole lifetime in jails for small thefts without being heard in courts. Some died in the course of trial without charges being probed against him/her. Forget about thousands and millions of cases pending in our courts about which we don't have any idea of there whereabouts but high profile cases like that of Babri Masjid, Mumbai Blasts of 1993, Aarushi Murder case of Ghaziabad,Gujrat Riots,2007 Hyderabad blasts,1984 Sikh riots,Bofors,Bhopal Tragedy and recently Delhi gang rape, etc.

There are so many other cases of such high value to public which are in courts since always, there is no justice in such cases, either the culprit died a natural death or remain in 5 star arrangements of Tihar Jail or any other jail in India. If  any how justice comes in these cases it was so late that its effect and impact was almost zero in society and on  masterminds of other such crimes. In India justice is cooked before presenting and in this process it's either remain over cooked or under cooked to be swallowed by the victim/s and others associated with them. These cases are used for political gains and thus remain alive in public domain.

But there is also an other side of it,the positive side where each one gets a fair trial and gets a chance to present his or her side to the court unlike other countries where there is no fair trial and some innocent people also get judgement which they don't deserve, but there are so many cases in Indian courts that justice tend to be delayed and thus justice delayed is justice denied. There is an urgent need for judicial makeover and this must be among manifestos of political parties for 2014 elections.

Incredible India

Incredible India!

India is incredible and there is no doubt about it,not only we believe it but the whole world is with us in this view. Since ancient times our country is a matter of interest for the universe for its uniqueness. Uniqueness in thoughts in culture,in tradition and in people of the country. Outside world was always curious to know us,we gave the concept of zero, spices, numerical systems, music and many more things to the world. They learn these things from us and developed them further but a thing we give to the world is still with us,we are admired for it throughout the world but not followed on this. The thing I am talking about is peace and non-violence.

Since the time of Gautam Buddha,we taught these concepts but all in vain. The other side of these concepts  is that we are now treated as a country for salvation but not a country of reputation. We are taken as soft targets even by smaller and weaker countries like Pakistan,Srilanka,Bangladesh,Afganistan, etc. we often pardon them and want to be their best friend even when they spread terror in our country. Developed countries which depend on us for there workforce pressurise and insult us in many issues. Recently two Italian officers who killed our fishermen were ordered to leave the country and they are now not coming back to face the trial, there are many such incidents with American,British or other countries. America destroyed a whole country for killing its people by an organisation and we take life of our country men so lightly that we allowed two killers to leave the country for elections in there nation.

Its good that we are peace loving people and believes in forgiveness and reformation but this portrays us as a soft targets for criminals. Our judicial system has two many loopholes and opportunities that criminal in our country roams freely and commits crime as easily as doing any routine job. This image should be changed and judicial system should be made strong by the government, there is also a need to look at our foreign policy more seriously and project ourselves as a stronger nation to the world.

Minority

This word is very common in India. But what this means? If we look at the dictionary meaning of this word this means a small number or part esp.a number that is less than half the whole number but in social and political sphere of the country it means privileges and vote bank. Each group or community states it self as minority to enjoy special grants and reservations in various government jobs and educational institutes, some presents themselves as being exploited for being in minority, so called majority in turn accuses injustice to them in providing special treatment to minority. Also there are so many minorities in India, religious minorities, cast based minorities, region based minorities, language based minorities and so on and there are also many political and non political representatives of these minorities which fought for there cause.

My purpose for writing this article is not to become another supporter to these groups but to mention another minority which is neglected and don't even have any representative. The honest citizen of country which actually suffered a lot.

They are the people which care for nation, region, religion, family and everything else but there is no one to care for them. A honest person doesn't get a good job and if so others put difficulties in there honest functioning be it Satendra Dubey of Bihar, Zia Ul Huq of Uttar Pradesh,in education, administration ever where they all fall prey to the system who don't wants them to be loyal to there work and force them to be part of majority i.e. corrupt force. If we look at the other side of the issue lack of representation of such people is responsible for all other problems in the country today.

There is a need to think about this minority, these people don't come from somewhere else but among ourselves. I read a story in childhood which states that to be a true lover of country it is not necessary to be in the armed forces or lead the country but to do our works sincerely and  honestly. If each one of us will play our part properly in any field with which we are associated honestly than there will be a majority in the country ,the majority of honest people. Think of country before yourself in any action you take.
