She dazzled without loosing hope with her dance keeping alive the name of her city.

My Lucky Charm


I rushed towards the elevator as I was already late for the meeting. Everything was screwed after missing her glance in the morning. It was my routine since childhood when on a result day I scored ninety percent in a paper I hardly wrote anything sensible after seeing her face in the morning. She lived in adjacent society so getting a glance of her without her knowledge was not a difficult task. Today also I waited for her about half an hour but she didn't come, she had left before me or would come late. Then I saw punctured car,metro was facing some problem and auto rickshaw charge double, nothing happened as planned.

As I closed the elevator door someone hurriedly opened it and came inside. I was shocked to see her in that lift. I always wanted to meet her. Although I looked at her secretly I never got the opportunity to have her so near to me.Neither I tried to say some words of admiration to her. At that moment when I gathered some courage to speak lift stopped. She was looking down in nervousness I could see worry on her face. Documents in her hand suggested that she was here for an interview. I didn't understand what to do at that time. I started blowing air with papers in my hand because fan in elevator was also not working. She looked upwards set her curls and smiled at that gesture of mine. I also smiled and for few minutes we just stared each other in that pin drop silence. My hand automatically moved towards her face when lift jerk shook us. I took back my hand.

After initial movement lift stopped again, she hugged me in anxiety, my heart started beating fast. I too hugged her tightly, lift started moving again when I hold her face in my hand. The door opened. "I have to get off here", she whispered in my ears. I looked around as if waked up from a sweet dream and released her suddenly from my hold. She smiled again and walked out. I saw her walking into an office without even looking back towards the lift where I was standing. My meeting after that was a successful one being able to touch my lucky charm this time. I still looked her silently when I needed some luck and she still walked passed me without any eye contact. That silent relationship is working very well. I always thinks that lucky is not the one who have any lucky charm but the one who is getting its luck constantly.

Borosil Biryani

Borosil Biryani

My brother and I usually ate lunch at office but on that day there were guests in house some relatives unknown to me so we were supposed to come home for lunch. I usually skips such occasion and even lunch but I heard that chicken biryani was in the menu. Thought of juicy chicken legs in basmati rice was enough to accelerate your hunger and avoiding this delicacy is a sign of a fool. 

As I reached home dastarkhan ( a mat used for serving food) was already placed with salad plate artistically displaying round shaped cucumbers, tomatoes and onions sprinkled with chaat masala( a type of spice mixture)and a tomato shaped as a flower was placed in between them. A raita bowl sprinkled with roasted cumin powder was looking like a full moon with black scars on it,the aroma of roasted cumin diverted my thoughts towards my another favorite Dahi Wada of famous chaat corner in our area. There were red chilly sauce,pickles,etc setting the mood for delicious lustrous lunch but the hero of the platter was missing. My eyes looked around for it's glimpse while nose was enjoying the odor of garam masala (a mixture of spices like cinamon,cloves,black cardomom,etc.) coming from kitchen.

At the instance when nose gets used to that odor ,the hero arrived in my sister-in-law's hand. I was unable to see it sitting in the ground. That moment I realized why Borosil Glassware is a must. It gave you an idea beforehand of what you are going to eat. We can enhance beauty of the food by presenting it in them as they say what looks good tastes good. Their availability in different shapes and sizes make them suitable for every dish. I wished we could have Borosil Glassware looking at the biryani.

Every single rice grain was shining like a pearl separated from each other, glazed brownish chicken legs beautifying the biryani lying above the double colored ( original color and saffron color) long basmati rice grains,brown fried onion along with garam masala were scattered over it making it more beautiful. The aromatic steam vapors were dragging me to swim in this dish blended with spices of beautiful odor which engulfing me to its bosom. My mouth was watering ,taste buds were craving but I was waiting for someone else to start. Meanwhile I thought that a transparent serving dish would give a better glimpse of what lies beneath, those colorful rice grains would have shined much better in it. Finally someone begins serving, my number came at the end. The rice were well cooked,and chicken pieces were breaking on a slight touch perfect for the biryani. I finished first and remembered how apt was a shayar (poet) about biryani in his sher (couplet):(That shayar was actually me):

Muhn mein jo ghul jaaye uss murg ki chahat hai,
Mehekte hue narm narm chawal se hi rahhat hai,
 Mil jaayein jo ye dono nazara-e-jannat hai,
 Jab rukne ki na tabiyat ho wahi Biryani-e-Lazzat hai.

(which translates as I have desire of a chicken which melts in mouth,fragnant soft rice only gives satisfaction,their amalgamation is sight of heaven,finest biryani is when you don't wants to stop eating.)

The Man,The Legend,The Role Model


The Man who belongs to a sport the name of which became synonymous to his name. The man who redefined that game with the way he played converting all previous records to his name and creating other milestones which were hard to reach by the next generation. The man which infused that sport in the veins of that country which still struggles to get timely food, shelter and clothes but watches and plays that game to be like him. The sport I am talking about is cricket which we all Indians eats,drinks and breathes and the man is Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar.



India is known by his name in the world. The fame he brought to the country with his phenomenal cricket is an inspiration to the whole generation of young cricketers. Many cricketer of current Indian team like Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag, etc gave him the credit to attract them towards the game and why only Indian cricketers foreign cricketers and the whole generation of of his era was glued to cricket due to him.

But what makes him the legend and the role model is not his cricketing records because someone would break them someday but his passion,sportsmanship and behavior on and off the field .His never say die approach in life. He never misbehaved with any senior or junior player he played with,encouraged younger generation keeping his own interests aside,supported his captain and coach in every situation, remain spotless at a time when match fixing hold every cricketer's collar, remain a true champion of the game even off the field with the way he conducted himself in public. We see today's cricketer indulging in brawls and fight with each other or displaying arrogant behavior publicly ill-treating fans and media for their little feats while he remained down to earth even after achieving so much.

There was a time when he was above the game but he never took appreciations to his head and always remained humble to everyone. His clean image, his soft spoken attitude, his sportsmanship, his tendency to take criticism positively and his principles(refused to endorsed a liquor brand) sets and examples for others to follow. Now he is separated from all forms of cricket after his retirement but the cricket is not separated from him. Commentators,viewers,spectators,opposition,captain still search for him in others that's what a role model is all about always in your mind to encourage and inspire you.

My Brother,My Role Model



In the course of life it is not the one man or one moment which inspires to be better and the best but anyone you come across in your life teaches you something valuable. These lessons we learn from them improves our lives and make us better making these men our role model whom we tries to imitate.

When I was a child my families financial condition was not very good. My father suffered a huge loss in his business. One or the other borrower queues daily at our door for their money while we didn't have enough money to afford even food. My father was shattered, it was at that time my mother and brother stood for him. My brother leaved his study and started learning some work. He learned machine embroidery work in only four months for which others took a year or so to learn and then he started his own work with some financial support from my parents who at that time opened a grocery shop.

I was very young at that time but I still remembered that my brother had one embroidery machine at home also in which he sets designs to show to clients to get orders for the same. Sometimes he worked till 2 or 3'o clock in night. He was passionate for his work and wanted to be a manufacturer of men's sherwani and kurta pyjama. It was his dedication and hard work that he became one in just three or four years and launched his own brand "GULMOHUR" which manufactures men's wedding attire. Today he is a successful businessman and I am also working with him.

He is so much dedicated to his work that he considered everything else secondary to it. When he was learning embroidery he remained surrounded by people who smoked,chewed tobacco,drank alcohol,etc but he never developed such habits. Even now when he went for business trips with clients or suppliers he refused their such offers. He always helped others without looking at his own interest, has a soft heart which easily melts listening someone's problem for which he was betrayed several times and is witty the qualities he inherited from his father which I don't found in me. He has enhanced his father's reputation in the society being his representative after his death. He takes good care of our needs. If I started writing about things he had done for me and rest of the family then this post is never going to end.

His perfectionism as a son and a brother makes it difficult for me to achieve his levels. When I grew up, there are already many standards set by him which I have to match. People says that son changed after marriage but he changed for the better becoming more caring for family specially mother. The way he conducts himself as a husband and a father is also setting an example for others. His confidence, hard work, his passion and dedication for his work are those qualities which I wants to own. My brother inspires me to believe in your dreams and gave your hundred percent to make it a reality.

Why I Don't Accept Liebster Award ?



Liebster I searched is a German word which means beloved,dearest,sweetheart,etc which here in blogosphere indicates the blog you loved the most or the loved blog. I am lucky that so many blogger friend have nominated both of my blogs several times for this award the recent one by Anusree Burman  but I haven't accepted any. I am thankful to all of them for considering my blogs to bestow their love.

Since I am not accepting these nominations people may consider me rude or an asocial person who not wants any such interactions but I have some reasons for that which I think I should write to clarify my stand. Here are my reasons for declining liebster award :
  • Love should be unconditional but here so much conditions imposed to love a blog, some blogger only fulfill the condition to nominate at least 5 posts without actually liking that blog as I have hardly seen them visiting the blog they have nominated. There is no deal in love.
  • Why it's obligatory to answer 11 questions and than frame 11 questions for others, if you love a blog and read it regularly you could by default understand many things about that blogger. 
  • Display Liebster batch on your blog which is easily down-loadable from Google images that means you need not do anything to earn it like writing a post,a poem,etc. 
  • Copy pasting rules and then copy pasting comments to each blog you nominated what one learns from it? What's the use of this process? It would be better to send our blogs to liebster blog so that they display them there and ask other blogger to vote for them for their content. Each month then give that blogger the liebster award which received the highest number of votes. This could encourage to be better so to be voted for that award.
  • Limitation that you could nominate the blogger with less than 200 followers. What if we love a blog having more than 200 followers?
In the end I should emphasis on the point that it should not be a default award for the sake of a time pass activity but should be prestigious award you have earned with your work. But I am again thankful to all those who love my blogs by nominating me but I am sorry not to accept them for the reasons mentioned above.

If you are not satisfied with usual travel norm,
wants a technological storm then its time to transform.



If you are one those who fits the above couplet then I think ASUS transformer Book T100 is the right choice. I am also one of those who remained hooked to a PC,laptop or mobile device to remain online 24 x 7 and hence travelling appears to be a nightmare. But you can't carry a PC with you everywhere and laptops and mobiles if used for web surfing eats battery like a hungry child eats a chocolate at one moment you see it intact and complete and at other moment you discovers only traces of it same happens with batteries. 

ASUS T100 provides 11 hours of continuous web browsing enough for playing online games,watching online movies,listening songs or even writing a blog post as travelling in beautiful serene ignites beautiful ideas.
Owing to its fast processor ( Intel AtomTM processor Z3740 (upto 2.3GHz,2M) ,I am not a tech geek to know that but I know more GHz means more speed which is must for faster processing of any device while playing games,downloading e-books,etc. Since it ASUS T100 is 2 in 1 writing articles on the go is as much handy as to play games as Windows says Work easy. Play Hard. It also has Microsoft Office 2013 inbuilt thus transforming working experience.

I am sure this ultra portable laptop with 10 inch tablet would make it difficult to travel with a companion as being hooked to it who cares to know who was sitting adjacent to you, ya but I could talk to him/her online. Gone were the days when one needs to carry a laptop for official work and a tablet for playing music and games while travelling and when we are getting power of two in one device then why not we prefer it for others. I found it very sleek looking and stylish which would make it easy to carry anywhere. Its easily fits into any bag reducing requirement to carry extra baggage of a laptop.Look at it in this video :



ASUS T100 would transform the mobile lifestyle by mobilizing all technological needs while travelling without worrying about charging in between. I hate charging devices more than once in a day so I consider that device useless which requires charging in every four-five hours. Insult

Insult



"Please speak in a low voice Dheeraj, neighbors are listening." Arvind said to his furious son who was abusing him for giving a share of property to his widowed daughter. " I don't care about them Dad, she don't have any right on this property, cancel this deed or face this insult daily." These words were bitter even more hurtful in front of twenty something people and that too from her only son for whom he had done so much in life keeping his head high in front of these neighbors.


He never cared for himself in front of his necessities. When he required money for business he gave all his provident fund money to him, his wife died in hospital due to lack of money as all his Fix Deposits were spent on his foreign studies. Dheeraj's push brought him back from memories. He wanted to say something , to abuse,to slap him but how could he when he never hit him shout at him even when he was a child. He didn't want to believe what he was experiencing but circumstances brings out real characters, it was then when people show you who they are, believe them. He moved out silently and went to his lawyer friend to claim back his house, business and other properties from his son. He wanted his reputation back.

He remained in his daughter's house during court trials. With court's orders Dheeraj's business and all properties were seized until any decision in this matter. Dheeraj never thought that his old weak father would drag him to the court. All his strut fell on his face, he had no source to run his family. He went crying to his father for forgiveness." Dad ! Think of your grandson he is just three years old where will he go?" He remained unmoved under his emotional pressure and offered to take care of his daughter in law and grandson until he got some decent way to feed them. He apologized and regretted for what he did but Arvind closed the door of his house for him after closing door of his heart being unable to get rid of the insult he received from him in front of his neighbors. He couldn't forget that money overcome his years of selfless love for him in seconds.
 People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

Split ends is the most common hair problem. It is a general belief that this problem is limited to women since they have long hairs. It is true also I have seen my sisters,mother,sister-in-law struggling with this problem and trying to overcome it by changing shampoos,applying different home remedies and by regularly cutting off their hair with precision. 



I applied for sample of Tresemme split remedy shampoo for their use so that I can review it on their behalf since shampoo market is female centric their reviews matter more than any male but they refused to use it by saying that they are happy with their shampoo and new shampoo might damage their hair further. I am sure most women would think like that for their most precious asset their hair and hesitates in using a new product. So the ball came in my court which proved enlightening by making me understand that split ends are not limited to females and those males who wants lush smooth tresses must also get rid of them.



I was already growing my hair long when I received this shampoo and conditioner hence it was an appropriate time to test tresemme shampoo and conditioner. My hair when grew long started entangling with each other that's why I always cut short them and my wish to keep a ponytail like Shahrukh Khan (In Don 2) remained unfulfilled. But with tresemme split remedy shampoo and conditioner my hair remained smooth even hours after washing. I am not among those who look into mirror and set their hair regularly thus my hair should remain similar throughout the day without caring much for them and with this shampoo and conditioner I achieved that. Although split ends are not very much visible in male hairs,their effect is visible when hair shows slower growth rate which I felt when I used this shampoo with conditioner because it enhanced my hair growth.

Seeing my shining smooth hair my sisters and sister-in-law has also started using this shampoo and by looking at the growth of my hair I am sure to have a ponytail soon. 

Super Power

Super Power


It is tough to think about any one power since I wants all powers possess by different superheroes around the world. During childhood I used to play games in which I became a superhero while my friend play characters of the bad guys. Most superheroes and villains we portray were my creations having powers like flying,bullet proof body,supersonic speed, fireproof,electricity control and so on. But with time I  understood that all powers are useless in front of that one power - The Time which controls our life,our birth,our death and everything in between.

 The past ( which builds our present ) and future ( for which our present is responsible )  fascinates me the most because both are mysterious. Thus the power which I want to have is 'Time command' i.e the power to control time.  I am curious about the life and times in the past ,I would then visit different eras across the world. I would change certain things happened in the past which still haunts the nation and the world. I would control everything. No that doesn't mean I want to misuse that power but like other super heroes I would use it to help humanity. Tsunamis,storms,earthquake and other such natural disaster would be control by time delay,some repairing and rehabilitation work could be fast forwarded.

Time command would superior to all other powers as time controls each one of us so I would control timing of all other superpowers as well if someone attacks me. I would help in framing policies and laws keeping an eye on future necessities. I would speed up court trials for fast justice. In short with time command I could do anything like publishing a WOW post on Sunday even if it was written on Monday. Now because my power is decided I am going to design a special superhero suit suitable to that power.
