Survivor

Her husband dragged her to their bedroom and closed the door from outside where his bosses were waiting for her like wolves surrounding their pray. She wished she new then what she knew now about her husband's greed. He could go to any extent for his promotion and when dinner didn't worked he served her wife to them.

The raped her one by one. Next day instead of accepting her fate and remain quiet she went to the police station and complained about her husband and his bosses. It's better to be a survivor than to be a sufferer.

The last line is powerful and appropriate. Her greedy husband and his bosses have to be taught a lesson.

Wow ! I'm proud of her, Cifar !!
I'm surprised we both have written on the same theme as the pivot, though I've explored the negative side of it !

What an awful thing to do! All of those men need to be behind bars for a long time. Sick.

Gosh! How low can a person stoop to!
'It's better to be a survivor than to be a sufferer'. True that!! Glad that she took that step!!

Cruel and sad state of affairs. Glad that she chose justice for herself.

Do such men exist? like that husband and that kind of bosses? I mean in real! there are bad men exist, even bad women too. But this extend!!! Hope this story remains fiction forever.

Powerful, grim, tragic and shocking. One cannot be left unmoved. Once, I read how a husband did that for promotion.

Sad that such things happen, Cifar.
Great expression.
Hope such traumatic incidents have positive survivors rather than people who 'quit' (commit suicide).
