Fun, Freedom, Confidence

Fun, Freedom, Confidence

We the modern generation wants everything instantly. We are ready to go at once rather than waiting for the best time to do a thing. So the things around us must have the capability to match our styles, to match our free spirited self, that's why we keep faster, sleek, stylish smartphones, wear clothes which suits our personality and prefer a vehicle which give us these things but sadly in this category we have little options to explore.

The soon to be launch Datsun rediGo by Nissan provides everything today's generation deserves and demand. Datsun rediGO gives a unique combination of style and comfort, with the best of Japanese technology. The three most interesting features which attracted me towards this modern machine are:

  1. Exterior: It has a modern and sleek design. It doesn't look bulky or a heavy vehicle but a modern machine to drive you across your destinations. With a style to flaunt on roads to make other jealous it doesn't compromises with the safety as it has a strong outer body. Lean and dynamic side character lines give it an appealing look. Best in class ground clearance makes it an easy drive on Indian conditions.
  2. Interior: It has the space for entire family as well as for luggage which makes it a family vehicle. The seating arrangement for five people is spacious giving you enough opportunity to interact with your family or friends you are driving with. The dashboard on your Datsun redi-GO is a thing of beauty. Radio, CD, MP3, USB, Aux-in – it’s all here in one convenient audio system thus fulfilling the entertainment requirement of the whole family.
  3. Comfort: Without comfort any vehicle is useless. If you don't feel relax in your car, you will never prefer to drive long distances. Datsun redi-GO’s 5-speed manual transmission gives you smooth control, with precise shifting for a more seamless response to your demands. Drive computer makes it easy to understand the functioning and superior air-conditioning make you feel at home inside the vehicle.
Beside these things it is fuel efficient and give mileage of around 25 kmpl which I think is commendable for vehicle in this class, small turning radius helps in easy driving on congested areas and help taking easy turns. It has not compromised with safety in providing comfort and style. It has energy absorbing steering and airbags to protect you at the time of accident. Its seats give correct posture to your back making long drive a cake walk.

It would be fun to test it in village areas and see it crossing the raw Indian roads. I would test it for reliability on such roads because if you travel long distances in India then the most part you travel are such kind of roads which are not smooth as in cities. But for its features and characteristics I am sure it's an high end urban vehicle giving you world class feel. What is important is that Japanese companies and technologies understand us Indians better than we know ourselves in terms of driving and comfort. Nissan have done well in the past and with Datsun -rediGo it will definitely impress us in the future.

Fun. Freedom. Confidence. The ultimate Urban Cross - Datsun redi-GO - the capability of a crossover with the convenience of a hatchback.

Real Togetherness

Real Togetherness

Indiblogger brandcover

‘It’s a small world!’ Really! We don’t know our neighbors, our distant relatives and are unaware of people in our societies and localities and we say that it’s a small world. Perhaps we started believing our smart phone or computer screen as the world because for many of us it is the world. Our friends live in it, we have sessions of hangout there, we grow our circles, poke each other, send hugs and kisses and even share our feelings without being aware of each other’s reality in the real life. We have forgotten what real togetherness means.

Real togetherness for me is doing things collectively. Being together in good or bad times and stand for each other in time of trouble. It was togetherness of human species which resulted in the growth of humans as supreme force on earth. We befriended nature collectively for helping us in our every endeavor. Nature remained our binding force by giving us opportunity to grow together like in farming, sailing, fishing, etc. Today when we hardly get any chance to come together nature could help us in doing so.

Disturbing natural balance often give us floods, droughts, tsunami, earthquake and many other natural disaster but these disasters brings us together as a community and as human beings and if this destructive side of nature could join us as humans the positive side of it could do wonders for us. In villages children accompany their parents to farms which bring them closer to nature but in cities there is no such practice. Parents are so busy in life that they don’t find time to spend with their children, if they took out some time to indulge their children in planting seeds or watering in garden area or just accompany them to gardens and park to admire natural beauty in flowers and birds then they could experience a real togetherness with you.

Kissan India provides seeds to plant in kitchen gardens or society garden which could bring the whole locality together for their care. This video gives a glimpse of this togetherness. Efforts by an old man and some children were appreciated and accompanied by whole society as one. They come together leaving behind their smart phones and busy lives in growing and saving the plants. (See video to know more.)

Real togetherness is when we enjoyed doing something together and thus realize the beauty of conversation and interactions with each other. It is not difficult if we give ourselves sometime for this, an opportunity to bring out our real social side as human and not the virtual social side which we display all over the net and which many times is not the correct resemblance of our personalities. When we come together we discover different aspects of not only others but of ourselves as well.

The Fast and Curious

The Fast and Curious

Image Indiblogger brandcover.

They say 'World is at your finger tips' regarding new age smart phones which are used more as a palm-computer than as mobile devices. The age of voice call is nearing to an end with the emergence of video calls and if you still think about text message than you must be using those old phones better to be used as paper weights because now is the time of video messages. A hand-held device i.e your smart phone is capable of doing all things.

But the smart phone has its own limitations, most of the above mentioned features and some more features like online gaming, live cricket streaming, movie downloads, music downloads, updating social sites with latest selfies and pics, following tweets of your favorites in real-time and many such features are dependent on your phone's Internet network which means a smart phone is dumb without a smart network and all the features like video calling, video messages are useless if you are unable to use them.

Airtel the biggest network provider in India with nationwide coverage has resolved your speed problems with #Airtel4G. The company with fastest 3G network is first to launch 4G services in India in across 296 cities at 3G prices. You can get this 4G Sim just by tweeting #GetAirtel4G @airtelindia on Twitter.

A movie buff and curious person like me who wants every information quickly at his smart phone need this speed to get rid of two words 'buffering' and 'loading'. A movie which runs by taking pauses  is like a horse stopping at each turn during a race. When you required information about something or while playing a game phone showing the message of 'loading' 'still loading' is annoying. Sometimes network takes so much time that you forget what you were searching. 4G is fast and resolves these speed problems. The most important thing is that you are getting 4G speed at the price of 3G from Airtel. The time has arrived when your smart phone would be smarter and faster.

Nowadays we spend most of the time with our smart phones and whether watching a video or posting to your blog and even shopping are performed using this device. The 'Oh Yes Abhi' generation which wants everything instantly doesn't like waiting. It irritates them when slow network prompts for refilling of bank details during an online transaction. So better switch to 4G than to curse mobile gods. During online transactions many times the system deduct money from your account without order being properly placed putting you in trouble to contact customer care thus restricting a common man from using phones for online shopping. A fast network not only ensures safe transaction but also encourages this type of shopping which saves your time and money.

Healthy Diet Is Right

Healthy Diet Is Right

The saying health is wealth is not just a phrase but a fact. If you are not healthy you can't do anything productive and even if you are doing something good in your unhealthy condition then most of your money would utilize in buying medicines and other health related things for you thus decreasing your wealth. Moreover healthy body thinks healthy, you remain active throughout the day without any complaints of lethargy. A healthy body takes away laziness from us.

Healthy body comes from a balanced diet and regular exercise. A balanced diet is one which gives our body the required nutrients in the required quantity. A diet mixed with fruits, green vegetables, dry fruits, honey, etcetra forms a balanced diet according to the requirement of a particular body type. When this balance breaks and we also stop doing regular exercise fat started accumulating around our body making us unhealthy which resulted in different ailments. As soon as we gain weight we start thinking about the ways to get rid of it and the first think that comes to our mind is the crash diet. Crash diet means a weight-loss diet undertaken to have rapid result. Although it do reduce weight suddenly but in the long run it is not beneficial.

When we go on a crash diet we stop eating which resulted in sudden weight-loss but in the long run our weight becomes stable after a certain point without further reduction. The energy lost during crash diet makes us sleepy and uninterested in any physical activity, skin glow reduces, dark circles started forming around eyes and craving for food also increases so when we see food items it becomes difficult to resist compelling us to eat more than our requirement. So instead of losing weight we gain some extra pounds and with crash diet idea of dieting got crashed. Crash diet may weaken bones, cause hemoglobin deficiency, etc if someone pursue it for a longer period due to less intake of required nutrients in our body

A proper way to have a healthy body is a balanced diet and proper exercise. Honey Diet is a good alternative as a diet plan. You can start your day with drinking lukewarm lemon water with 2 tsps of Dabur honey in it and substitute your sugar with honey in other food items you eat throughout the day. Dabur Honey has introduced some recipes and diet plans on their site to promote healthy living. Moreover honey's health and nutritional values are known to the world from ages. Samples of honey in Egyptian pyramid proves their use in the ancient age. It has sugar in its simplest form which dissolves in the body easily unlike processed sugar which accumulates in the body increasing body fat and body weight which makes us unhealthy.

We Indians love cricket more than anything else in this world. We plan our vacations according to cricket season, we give marriage dates keeping in mind the cricketing season, skip office, postpone family get-together and even break promises for an important match. I am not surprised to say that we Indians eat cricket, sleep cricket and breathe cricket. Cricket moves in our veins faster than the blood. Accordingly we feel uneasiness if for certain reason we are unable to see a match. Our attention get diverted from a particular thing, person or occasion to cricket. We don't want to miss any match at any cost and thus knowingly or unknowingly hurt our closed ones with our behaviors.

Our love for cricket is so much that we feel almost impossible to miss a match but at times we are unable to do so and wish to have something which keep us updated about the match. We carry mobiles everywhere we go and if something keep us updated on cricket matches through our smartphones then we want nothing else in this world. But the time taken in buffering the video or in opening web pages our enthusiasm got struck like the video in the mobile. The only way to stay connected to the match while not missing out on all the little things that make life worth while is our smartphone which would surf fast. But the speed provided by our network operators is not enough to experience things in a way we desire. We can balance both the other important things in life and the cricket only if we could get match scores anywhere anytime without disturbing others.

UC browser has brought us a solution for this. A browser which is faster, easier to use with seamless transition has a feature called UC Cricket dedicated for cricket fans, connecting them to the match wherever they are. It provides latest scores and cricketing news in the real time without need to search it from Google or anywhere else. It has important match videos to see when you are not connected to someone important.

Life gives few loved ones in our life and its our duty to value them. In our love for cricket we sometimes didn't cherish their presence in our life and usually forget or miss or postpone important things just to watch a cricket match. In today's smart world we now can manage both with our hand- held devices which are as much part of our lives as anything else. So install UC browser and click on UC cricket to keep everyone happy. UC cricket displays mach updates in your notification panel so that you just need a glance at your phone to know the score and satisfy your cricket love. UC browser also helps you to explore many other app and services much faster from any other browser. #YuviSurfUC and we should also surf it.

Natural Care is The Best Care

Natural Care is The Best Care

Image from Indiblogger brandcover

If you have sisters and that too five in number then one thing you would know the best is the hair and skin care techniques. I am lucky too have five sisters thus home-made remedies for different problems are easy to find. They keep newspaper and magazine cuttings about skin care, how to get slim, how to grow your hair long, what to eat for glowing skin et cetera, et cetera and I am being younger to them was their Guinea Pig to test new products and solutions they made after reading in newspaper and magazines or watching them in television. I didn't protest because I knew they would not try anything harmful on me and because after that they have to make things I like to eat.

I have oily skin which is perfect for pimples but you would be shocked to know that my face remain unaffected by pimples due to the use of Multani Mitti (Fullers Earth) on my face. Multani mitti also gives relief against prickly heat. I still remember that when I was a child they rub my complete body with Multani mitti paste during hot Delhi summer. It is more effective on face when you apply it by mixing sandalwood powder which is good for skin glow. Sandalwood powder and rose-water mixture is also an alternative for glowing skin.

You must have heard the old VICCO turmeric cream jingle , ' keel muhaso ko jad se mitai, haldi chandan ke gund isme samaye,' (removes black head and pimples, with turmeric and sandalwood qualities) which clearly indicates the importance of sandalwood in skin glow. This cream is a regular in our house from always. I have also used other things like sandalwood face packs, turmeric face packs, neem face packs et cetera on advice of my sisters and believe me the natural products are better than artificial chemical based products. Now I don't listen to their advice much but during my childhood and teenage they used to guide me for healthy skin and hair. Now I too have knowledge of many things from their experience and by searching Internet.

Using natural products for your skin maintains the originality of your skin thus keeping your face younger and energetic for a longer span of your life. You must have noticed the soft skins of  your grandmothers, this is due to the use of natural products more in the past. It is true that pollution and changing environment have increased the risk of skin damage and you are required to use much more things on your skin than before but you can still use Ayurvedic products or products with the natural ingredients like VICCO turmeric cream instead of chemical based products.

We can track our exercise routine, finances, remain connected to our friends and family all because of these smart phones. The apps offered by them making our life smoother and easier day by day.  My Airtel App from Airtel is one such app.

Airtel users which are already privileged to have the India's largest and smartest network suited best for the smarphones now have the opportunity to gain more out of it by using My Airtel App which is available for all smartphone operating system (Android, IOS, Windows, etc). After download a one time registration code is sent for mobile number verification after which the app is ready to use. This app is the simplest way to manage all your Airtel services through your handset. The three key features of this app which I liked the most and suits best to my life style are :

1. Airtel Surprises : Who don't like surprises? My Airtel App gives surprise coupons after every recharge that you do. You can redeem these coupons across categories like shopping, food, wellness, entertainment, etc. That means the recharge which you would do even if you don't get anything from it brings you offers from brands like PVR cinemas, Cafe Coffee Day, Flipkart, Amazon and many more such brands without any extra charges.

2. Work On The Go : We often forget to recharge our  DTH service, paying our bills and even recharging our data plans which results in discontinuation of these services. It happens because in our busy routine we forget such things or don't get time for them but now with this app we can do these tasks when they comes to our mind with the help of the device which is always in our hands i.e our smartphone via the smart app - My Airtel.. This feature is my favorite for providing convenience of doing these important task without going anywhere.

3. Safe And Secured Payments : What restricts us from doing the online transactions is the risk to compromise our confidential card details. This app with PCIDSS certification ensures safety of online transactions. Thus we can easily recharge our mobile phone, pay our land line bills, etc without worrying about safety. Moreover it stores the card information for faster payments in the future transactions.

The App has a user-friendly interface and option for easy customization of home screen according to your needs. If you are an Airtel user without this app on your smart phone then you can download it from My Airtel App.

Ek Nayi League

Ek Nayi League

image from indiblogger.in brand cover

Cricket Leagues, Kabaddi Leagues, Football Leagues, Badminton Leagues and so many other leagues are coming in the country. Their motive is to promote their respective game by giving it a flavor of glamour and entertainment and their acceptance among the masses shows their success in the their endeavor. They have changed the way we see these games, the way we feel these games. They have earned a viewership of those people also which used to avoid watching these games or those who didn't like them at all. In this crowd of leagues our very own loving, famous, forever young cricketer Mr Kapil Dev is bringing #EkNayiLeague among us.

Ek Nayi League as the name suggests would be a different and a new concept. In his videos he is urging celebrities from the field of sports and television that playing this league with heart is like giving your own wicket (Hit Wicket) or a surprise twist (Googly). In his campaign picture he is posing like a quiz master touching his head with finger of his left hand an impression usually used to imply something related to wit and wisdom. If I conclude all these evidences then Ek Nayi League appears to me a cricket based entertaining game show.

A celebrity show where participants would face situations where they need to decide from emotional angle or practical angle and the emotional side would either eliminate you or would send you in danger for a new test essential for saving one from eviction. Kapil Paji's presence surely relates it to cricket because he is the one face along with Sachin Tendulkar who have instilled cricket in veins of Indian people. Everybody recognizes him as the man who first lifted the cricket world cup for India in 1983 and his image holding the cup from the balcony of Lord's Cricket Stadium (London, England) is unforgettable. Cricket, Celebrity, Cerebral is a deadly combination for an entertainment based game show. Kapil's mix of rustic and modern style would sure to add cherry to such a show.

I wish that if my guess about Ek Nayi League is wrong and it comes out something else even then someone should consider my idea for a game show of such type. Ek Nayi League's mysterious campaign have engaged online audience in this guessing game. Kapil Dev's twitter debut @therealkapildev before #EkNayiLeague is also making this event exciting. The interest generated by this campaign is humongous and lots of people are waiting for the revelation of this secret. I am also eager to know what the role Kapil Dev is playing in this new league. His role with this league is also a matter of suspense and curiosity among the masses. There are also possibilities that #EkNayiLeague would be a social initiative. What do you think about Ek Nayi League? If you are guessing something share it on at http://www.eknayileague.com/

Kellogg's Waale Gupta Ji Ka Nashta

Kellogg's Waale Gupta Ji Ka Nashta!

Gupta family is a small Indian family living somewhere near us having four members Mrs and Mr Gupta and their children a girl and a boy. Kellogg's Cornflakes are not alien to us and have become part of breakfast for years due to their health and nutritional benefits over other breakfast options available to us. It has many variants available in the market to suit our taste buds but even taking this healthy and delicious food daily would started feeling bad due to monotony and what Gupta family have done is breaking this monotony by experimenting with Kellogg's cornflakes and thus they have rightly garnered as Kellogg's Waali Gupta family.

They have over hundred mouthwatering recipes like Cornflake Walnut Chocolate Muffin, Walnut Cornflakes Choco balls, Cornflakes Coconut Diamonds, Cornflakes Chana Chaat, Fruity Yoghurt Cup, Peach Cornflakes, Date Shake, Cornflakes Khatta Moong, Cheesy Cornflakes, Oats Nutri Cutlet , Peppy Papaya Cake, etc which have caught the attention of my taste buds but what I would like to taste on breakfast with Gupta family is Cornflakes Chana Chaat looking at its taste and nutritional value. Just look at its recipe :

Happiness

Happiness

Happiness is not just a smile or laugh but contentment and satisfaction. You could find contentment in a thing as meagre as walking in the rain or couldn't find in a thing as big as a Jumbo Jet. Whatever we do, whatever we are trying to do, whatever we wants to pursue in our lives, whatever we want to attain in life is just to seek happiness. Our wishes for luxuries are all meant for our satisfaction and thus for happiness but where will we get it is not known to us. Our faith in particular religion and philosophy is also for happiness, the happiness of mind which makes us content and give us peace and joy. All our life is a journey to find happiness. Lucky are those who could find it in small things of day to day life, in their boring routines or in everything around them while some couldn't able to find it even after searching the world.

I find happiness in writing poem and stories. I used to rhyme the words from the time when I haven't even learnt to write. But nowadays besides writing I found happiness in naughtiness of my two and a half year old niece. Her dancing as soon as she heard some music, her repeating the songs when they played on TV or mobile phones, her repeating of things someone else or I have told her before, her caring for each family member of the family even at such a small age by remembering and taking care of their things if scattered around, these and many more things of her makes me happy. Her cute acts of kindness, naughtiness, playfulness makes all of us jubilant and happy. I also feel satisfied and proud of the fact that her parents are taking good care of her and giving her full liberty right from the beginning to grow to best of her capabilities and enjoy her childhood unlike most of the other children of our country who by choice or by compulsion restricts themselves to cherish their years as children.

By the way I laugh rarely, it's not that I am a serious kind of person but I smile than to laugh out loud at such situation, anyways leave the reasons for discussion on this to some other occasion. I have mentioned this thing just to tell you that I laugh a lot when I play with her and enjoy doing the same thing again and again which otherwise bores me. I forget all my worries and tensions with her and felt satisfied after seeing her happy in whatever she does and that's I think is happiness to me.

Jo Mile Saath Mein Tere, Woh Khushi Hai,
De Jo Sang Tere Waqt , Woh Khushi Hai.
Khush Hokar To Pehle Bhi Hasein Honge Kabhi,
Jo Khilkhalake Hase To, Woh Khushi Hai

Together We Can

Together We Can

Image from Indiblogger brand cover

'Together we can and we will make a difference ' this is a line from a crime based show of the 90's India. It was meant for implying that together we can stop crimes around us and we will make that difference happens with our togetherness but this line also underlines a fact that togetherness can do wonders. We often lose our motivation, courage and enthusiasm and it was then we realize how togetherness is important in keeping alive the hope and optimism in the journey of life. When we are together with our friends or family ,their mere presence instills confidence in us.

Years back when I was in school, I participated in a dance performance in our annual day function. Though I joined the dance group due to teacher's pressure and because two of my friends were also in the group, I was hesitant to perform because of my stage fright. I was confident in the rehearsals and I knew that I would perform well during the final take but the problem lied in stepping on stage. I shared this problem with my brother and sisters and they ensured me that there is no need to fear as they would be present in the audience to cheer me. They came backstage before the performance started and boosted my confidence. Even with so much encouragement and confidence boosting I was fearing when I reached the stage but when I saw my family sitting in the audience my brother, sisters and parents. I forgot all my fear and started performing with full confidence. Their presence in the audience was enough for the strength and motivation required by me to perform and be optimistic.

We can do anything when we are together whether at the level of family or at the level of nation. A nation is build when all its citizen works together for its betterment. Being together gives us strength and motivation needed to go with optimism and look up. Housing is building home keeping that motive in mind. We as family faced many difficulties in our life from losing all our business and money to being debt ridden, from having everything to have nothing and then again regaining back. We are able to face all these difficulties because we remain hopeful and optimistic as we are together with each other. We encouraged the one going low and make him/her to look up in the life ahead which is full of opportunities and hope.

As I said earlier that together we can and we will make a difference. I have experienced this phenomenon in my family where we have made difference in our lives with togetherness. If we are alone we always get negative thoughts but when we are together we become each other's strength and in doing so we forget our own problems and thus in encouraging and motivating other we ourselves get motivated that's the power of being together.

A Step Towards Change

 A Step Towards Change

Change is permanent. It is the only constant around which our lives moves. Nobody can and nobody will ever be able to stop it. It is happening and it has to happen anyhow in us, in our surrounding, in our thoughts, in our ideas and in our lives. It is not a bad thing as most people believes , it is good since it gives way to something new better than yesterday, better than the past. If we pursue with positivity and optimism then the change which come will do wonders for us.

I have mentioned in some of my previous post about the fatal accident I met in the year 2005 while returning from an institute where I was pursuing a degree course in computer software. It took several days to discharge from hospital and it took about a month to recover from it completely and to start walking properly without any support and bandages on my body. But what I haven't mentioned before is that my family became more protective towards me. They never allowed me to go outside for anything and if ever I tried to go they accompany me. I was not permitted to go alone even to a barber's shop. My life became still and home bound even though I was recovered. It was then I decided to bring a change in my life and to start it all over again. I decided to start a new life by rejoining the course I was doing before the accident.

My family protested but I listened to no one at that time because only after this change I could bring a change in my life. I met with accident while riding a cycle and it was a big step for me to choose that mode of transportation again for my ride to the institute. I wouldn't able to complete my course if I haven't opted for that change in my life. During my recovery period I not only changed physically in appearance by my way of thinking was also changed. I became more spiritual and positive. This time also brought me closer to world problems since I surfed News channels more when I was bedridden which further motivated to voice my concerns which became the stepping stone for my commitment to writing and then to write for change.

We all change with time in our thoughts and appearance, it always bring something good in our lives. In this changing world Housing is committed in bringing homes spreading optimism in the world.  Housing envisions a world filled with positivity. As elusive as it may seem, optimism can be found all around - in the laughter of children, in the excitement on your pet's face when you get back after a long day, and in the smile of your loved ones when you go back home after months of being away.

If There Is Hope, There Is Life.

If There Is Hope, There Is Life.

Life is nothing if there is no hope. A hope for the better future, a hope for a better home, a hope for a better car, a hope for a better life helps us to keep going without fail. We even overcome our failures if we have hope. Hope maintains optimism which in turn make life easier and spread positiveness in it not only for ourselves but also for those connected to us.

Often in life we lose up if some misfortune happens in life and it sometimes becomes difficult to keep alive the hope in us. Once in such a situation I too was dejected and hopeless for some of my decisions which brought loss to me. It was the time when I felt solitary confinement for myself better than to face the world and people. I used to sit in parks or on benches around roads observing children playing, people talking and moving, cars coming and going but found nothing in these things for myself. All world appeared useless to me in those circumstances.

On one such day when I was lamenting my decisions sitting on a bench along the road which was also the pickup point for construction labors. People or contractors came there for masons or labors for the work on their construction sites or homes, they negotiated with few and select one according to their requirement and budget. I saw one labor negotiating for himself and when the deal was done, he insisted to take another labor whom he was suggesting in his place. The man found nothing wrong in it as both labors had same built. He took that labor instead with whom he had negotiated. I sat there for hours and observed that the labor who left his work for another one found no other work that day. As he was going back I stopped him and I asked whether he was repenting his decision of giving his work to someone else. He smiled and said that he was happy than sad because another labor for whom he left his job was his neighbor whose mother was ill and for whose medicine he didn't have money. He said that he could mange for that day but if his friend would not get that job than his friend wouldn't able to buy medicine for his mother.

After hearing him I realized that some of our decision if not beneficial to us were helpful for someone else. There is always a good in every bad and instead of finding that good we started cursing our bad luck. We must not lose hope for such decision and should not waste ourselves in repenting them but to learn from them and start again anew. An unknown stranger filled me with optimism and hope for a better future. It is this hope which runs this world , it is this hope which keep us alive.

World is full of hope and positiveness but only when we see it. Housing envisions a world filled with positivity. As elusive as it may seem, optimism can be found all around - in the laughter of children, in the excitement on your pet's face when you get back after a long day, and in the smile of your loved ones when you go back home after months of being away. Housing are bringing homes spreading optimism in the world.

raston ki bheed mein manzilein milti nahin.

Life is a learning process. Right from the time we came to this world we start learning and doing things some by choice and some by compulsions. Learning and doing things is not as simple as it looks. Our hesitations, inhibitions, shyness and deep thinking often comes in our way of learning and doing things. We stop at that point and try to motivate ourselves hoping for a push to put our best foot forward. The push which helps to overcome our fears and make us more self reliant. Push from your family, from the member of your family who knows you need to make things easier.

An incident comes in my mind from the time we children used to do Ramlila in our locality during Dussehra holidays which reminds me the importance of that push which helped me in becoming more self reliant person. The major part of the money for Ramlila budget came from our families i.e the families of all the children who took part in it but that amount was not sufficient and it wasn't write to pressurize our families more so we decided to collect donations by visiting door to door around the houses in our area. We made groups for this task but each one of us was hesitant in doing this, what would happen if they scold us? How it would look to ask money from people we don't properly know? Such questions decreased our confidence. We were discussing this near my father's shop, he heard our problem and called us in his shop.

He looked at me and told me that we should start from the houses near his shop. He would watch us and would intervene if their was any problem. " Beta ! Koi na se badi goli to nahin marega."( Son ! No body will use a bigger weapon than no.) We did what he said. While visiting first few houses we were looking at him while interacting with people but as we moved on we gained confidence and that task which was looking as difficult as climbing the Everest became so easy.

I remembered his this teaching even now and always recall his words while facing someone that "It's only a 'NO' " life not ends with rejections. This move of his encouraged me to grow into a better more self-reliant person. He could contribute more at that point with money or would have arranged from some of his friends but he boosted our confidence to face people and to be more responsible for your duties. We did Ramlila for three years and stopped it after one of our friends died of dengue on Dusshehra eve but after the first year we managed funds easily by visiting to more people for donations even beyond our locality.

We also organised Independence day and Republic day functions, Janmashtamai celebrations, New Year Party, etc during those days with our newly found confidence. Apne hi apno ko khud ke dum par jeena sikhate hain, aur aise apne hi sahi mayno mein jeena sikhate hain. Much like HDFC life insurance which helped you to keep your head high Sar Utha Ke Jiyo.

No Fikar, Chat Quikr

No Fikar, Chat Quikr

If you are a teacher, a lawyer, a homemaker, a designer, a student or even a blogger then this name is not new to you Quikr the largest online buying, selling and renting platform in India catering almost all major cities like Delhi, Bhopal, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, etc. Quikr provides the local community with a platform to help them buy, sell, rent and find something and address needs across many categories. These categories numbering over 12 and sub-categories over 140 range from Mobiles, real estate, cars, services, jobs, entertainment, furniture, electronics etc.

If you haven't used it till now this is because of the fear of interference in your privacy . The buyers could call you at times you were busy in school, office, home or with your friends or you skeptical that making your mobile number or email id public would make you vulnerable to some mischievous elements and if you are a girl then your hesitations are not wrong looking at the increasing cases of mobile stalkers and abusers. I too was hesitant for such reasons. But Quikr in its endeavor to provide quality service with safety to its users have introduced a feature Quikr NXT.

Quikr Nxt, is a feature which allows users to chat using the website or mobile app. This means users can choose to make a listing private, which hides their email ID and phone number on the site thus making interacting with prospectus buyers and sellers convenient without revealing our identity which means No Fikar Chat Quikr. I have already mentioned why I would prefer chat mode over a phone call by outlining discomforts of a phone call. Following points would make it clearer:

  • Chat will keep our number private which would be helpful in safeguarding our privacy which in turn would be helpful in prevention from anti-social elements.
  • With chat we can contact our buyer and seller with our convenience without compromising our precious time meant for other works of family and business. Moreover this feature would allow us to keep track of our chats like other messenger services we are using on our mobile devices.
  •  If there is requirement for more details to buyer than seller could send more images of product making it much more easier to select the desired product.
Chat feature is a win-win situation for both the buyer and seller without infringing any body's privacy, time and convenience. Choosing the seller or buyer of our choice without phone calls would also ensure that we are not hurting anybody by declining their offer or not buying or selling things to them.It happens sometime that buyer tries to contact us after first phone conversation at a time when we would have purchased or sold that product from/to someone else due to price difference. Chat feature would help us from the discomfort of saying no to someone.

I have dreams or I should say that we have dreams, my team the members of my community who are struggling for a name and fame in the society at least some respect from are fellow citizens. We are the neglected lot in this country. There are people who fought for the rights of women, children, LGBT , SC, ST,etc but none comes to cater our demands for the equality or rather superiority in the society for our services to the great country of ours India.

Afters years of humiliation from the society we have decided to come together to raise our demands and make our talent known not only in the country but throughout the world. Actually sometimes I think these foreigners understands us better that our own countrymen. They are the true jewelers to value the gems like us. They click pictures of our arts of those beautiful textures we made with paan and guthka spits on roadside walls, the garbage we throw to show our high consumption of food items are their favorite and not to forget the patches of plaster falling from walls after years of constant urinating such patches caught their immediate attention. The foreign tourists regularly visits just to see our creations not only at public places and roads but also at historical monuments. But still no special mentions of our services on public platforms.

It is sad to say that the talent admired by foreigners remained neglected at its place of birth. I sometimes feel ashamed when people just move aside keeping hands on their noses after seeing someone urinating on the walls and thus ignoring his artistic urge of giving a unique texture to that wall. My friend Paan Singh is a champion paan spitter, he can aim from a distance of about 10 feet and it is hard to get Gutkiya Lal's intensity while spitting guthka from his mouth. Shanno Aunty is a champion garbage bag thrower, her bag falls at a same place daily from balcony of third floor and not to forget my girlfriend she herself is unaware of the fact that the plastic bottle she threw out from moving car always falls on the road without hitting anybody an unmatched talent I would say.

There are numerous such talents like Peshab Bahudur, Kuda Khan, Thook lal,etc which went unnoticed due to the sorry state of our country in recognizing skillful people. Here I would like to thank The Times of India for providing us the platform to show our talents to the world through The Great Indian website. Here you can post pictures of these unknown people, their creations and help them to exhibit their skills. I would also like to appeal to the PM, the Indian Olympic Association, the Sports Ministry to look into the matter and give us chance to shine by demanding spitting competitions in Olympics. I assure you to win all three medals in this sports for the country. Moreover their must be some efforts from the government to highlight this talent and give some respect to us. I also demands Bharat Ratna for Paan Chand for his contribution in every expect of littering.

Here is a video by The The Great Indian website displaying some of us with their skills:

Relocating from one place to another is a daunting task and to think shifting to a place 2155 km away with all your furniture, electronics and other essential things seems next to impossible with all the things you have in your house. The cost to transport your household items to such a long distance would sure to destabilize your monthly budget leaving with less money to spend in the new city and the possibility that things would not damage during transportation is very less. I am talking about relocating from Delhi to Bangalore.

Bangalore or Bengaluru is the capital city of a southern Indian state Karnataka and is known as Silicon Valley of India due to home to numerous IT companies. This city is rapidly booming in every sector thus providing more opportunities than many other Indian cities for business growth as well as for those who wants better education in engineering and management owing to presence of high number of such institutes. Thus shifting to such a city would be a win-win situation in every expect, but as I mentioned earlier with all electronics, furniture and vehicles it would be difficult to think so.

Truth Is Relief

Truth Is Relief

We are humans , we lie each time we find ourselves in difficult situations to come out of it forgetting that a lie is easy in beginning but difficult afterwards unlike the truth which is difficult first and comfortable later. It is common to speak a lie , we all use it in various situations and the one who says that he or she hasn't told a lie was either an alien or be fooling others. A lie becomes a sin if it is hurting somebody emotionally and financially. It is realization of such kind of lie which snatches our sleeps. The feeling that our spoken words have betrayed some one's trust is hard to absorb.

Once during school days , a friend of mine brought out a book from library without being officially issued by the librarian in library period. He told me about it after the class. I didn't find anything wrong in it, "It is just a single book ". Next day when librarian came to know about the missing book, she came to our class and asked us about it. She inquired in each class which attended library the previous day. Both of us remained quite being aware of the consequences of speaking truth in front of class. We would receive humiliation and insult only. When librarian didn't find any information about the book from any class. She announced in all senior classes that no book would be issued before the recovery of that book.

Exams were near at that time many we needed so many books for preparations such an order was a big punishment for us and  a setback for our hopes for good results. The reason behind all of this was my close friend. Being aware of the truth I was also responsible for it. I told him that we must speak truth to avoid such punishment but he was scared. Fear was engulfing me also but I realized that bringing book out of library in this way was like stealing it and telling the truth was the right thing in that situation . 'Sach aur sahas ho jiske man mein ant mein jeet usi ki hoti hai' ,I told this to myself and took him forcefully to our class teacher and explained everything  to her. I was sure for her help because she knew we were not bad boys.

She handled the situation by talking to librarian and we came out unharmed with truth. Our fear was gone, wakai kitna chain hota hai sachai mein. Next day we were praised by Principal in assembly in front of school for telling the truth. He compared us with the likes of Mahatma Gandhi and Abraham Lincoln in showing courage to do so. I always speaks truth , my lies are reserved for just small pranks and jokes only. In adverse circumstances it is sometimes problematic to speak truth but believe me truth itself eases such problems. We always gets relief from truth.

This video of Kinley commercial is affirming that belief about truth. Kinley drinking water is purity in every drop.

Magical Vacations

Magical Vacations

A television channel says ' Asli Maza To Sab Ke Saath Aata Hai ' ( Real fun is with everyone ). There are business outings and you go alone without family. Then in spite of having lots of spare time you better prefer to stay in your hotel room due to lack of enthusiasm and interests. But when you visit same place with the family having children around, you feel the environment much happier and livelier than when you were alone. Children bring that magical touch to any vacation, their enthusiasm and interests in things make you more excited about holidays planned with them.

Today in this competitive world children are so much busy with their studies, tuition, dance classes, music classes, hobby classes, etc that they hardly get any time to cherish nature. I felt very bad one day when my nephew questioned me about how a full moon looks like. I realized that they stay so much occupied inside the four walls of the houses in the concrete jungle called city that they have never seen a full moon by sleeping outdoors. Perhaps they are also unaware of soothing summer morning breeze, floral gardens, birds chirping and things like that. They are not solely responsible for this situation.

We never took out time from our busy schedules to spend quality time with them to discuss their desires. Conversations with them reveals their contentment in smaller things than we think like chasing a butterfly, making a tree house, watching wild animals in jungle, feeding fishes in ponds, spending time with family in camping and if we looked closely to this list these are also the things we want for ourselves. Children with their holiday plans live with dreams some of which are unfulfilled  in our own lives and somewhere in our life we also wishes for these desires to come true.

I have kids around me in the form of nephews and nieces and I would want them to experience these beauties of nature with the family in a holiday of their choice a #TravelWithKids. I would ensure such a place for them where they could feel nature close to them. Where they could cherish the beauty of high mountains and at the same time embellish the flowing fresh water of rivers under their feet. A place where they could fully enjoy their childhood and give us elders in the family to relive our childhood with them. I would make sure the freedom of their senses which they otherwise hide behind books or games. I would like to see them as children and not as copies of their elders always occupied with something.

Kids see vacations very differently from adults, their expectations are much different from us and you could have an idea of these desires with Club Mahindra Teddy Travelogue an online travelogue of kids written by kids. While reading them you realizes that holidays are not meant just for fun for kids but they also learn a lot in such vacations. These stories inspires children to travel more and create a platform to showcase their unique talents.

Rise Above Fear!

Rise Above Fear!

Fear is only a four letter word but having numerous types which obstruct our path to success. Fear to talk to someone, fear to face the public, fear to go somewhere, fear of meeting new people, fear to climb a tree, fear of interviews, etcetera , etcetera, etcetera. The list is endless. You can see a similarity between all these examples, on one side of fear is the success or the result achieved after performing these activities and on another side its you, that means the only thing between success and you is your fear and when we rise above it we comes out as a winner.

I too have many fears like each one of us and there were many instances in my life where I faced them to come out as a winner at least for myself. In 2005 I was doing a degree course of multimedia and web designing in a computer training institute near my house. I preferred my bicycle for going there and on one fateful day in November of that year when I was returning from the institute a speeding car hit my bicycle from behind and I became unconscious on the spot. Some rickshaw puller standing nearby stopped that car and forced the driver and her companion to take me to the hospital.

I remained in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) for six days before coming back to my senses all thanks to efforts of doctors and prayers of my family & friends. It was a new life for me. The wounds on my legs confined me to bed for about a month. After coming back to normal routine it was time to complete the course, the institute allowed me to continue my course with another batch and I faced no problem from their side. But the real problem was waiting inside me, my fear to ride a bicycle again, my fear to go back on road, my fear that this would not happen again. During recovery period talks of well wishers intensified my fear more, " Do take care when you go on cycle again. " " Take someone along with you when you go out." " Don't ride a cycle again." " You know this could me more fatal. God has given you a new life." These kind of instructions were demotivating. But my family said that I should go there again on cycle to face my fear.

I collected my courage and when I pushed the pedal of my cycle first time after recovering from accident I not only moved forward on road by I also moved forward from my fear. I felt victorious and as they say in Mountain Dew ads Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai ( There is victory ahead of fear). It was a very small thing but for one who have passed that condition of accidental trauma and hospital procedures it was among the biggest achievements of my life. I overcame my fear. I rose above fear. We must rise above fear to get success we deserve.

Here are the Mountain Dew videos to inspire everyone to rise above their fear. (In Tamil and Telugu ) Understanding language not necessary to understand their objective.
