New Zealand Terrorist Attack

New Zealand Terrorist Attack

New Zealand Terror Attack on 15th March 2019 on two Mosques in Christchurch is another violent attack on humanity similar we have witnessed in past 20-25 years on various places of USA, France, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Australia, Norway, etc but what make it standout from the rest is the involvement of social media in it and the way it brought New Zealand to the terror map.

The terrorist live streamed his killing which reached several around the world and also published what he called a manifesto of 72 pages on his social media page spreading his venomous hate before shooting in the mosque. The hate social media namely Facebook, Twitter and What’s App generated has seen much similar consequences in India also when mobs were organized to brutally lynch someone just because his/her eating habit, religion, gender, color, dressing sense was not like them. The hate messages were so high that government on courts order forced to direct these platforms to regulate them which resulted in some changes in their policies and their advertisement reflected that too.

But the hate they generated is continuous; it creates an inferiority complex in a particular person by projecting some another person who belong to some other religion, caste, color or region as the enemy of that particular person. Such messages say that ‘They’ have snatched their jobs or hurting their religion or occupying their nation as if ‘they’ have come from somewhere else. The mind of people of read such messages gets whitewashed easily and they develop hate for these 'Others.. They take What’s App messages as gospel truth and never thought a second to verify the claim made in these messages. As a result hate comes out in such brutally violent incident. Earlier some terrorist organization used to do this job by luring some dissatisfied youth but who to blame now when people are radicalized sitting in their homes?

A hard hitting satire by The Telegraph (Kolkata)

Similar kind of thing is happening with first Indian Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru who is labeled nowadays as the reason for all the problems faced by India in present time.  Messages defaming him are circulated and people tend to believe them without verification from any source. Even government ministers are involved in doing this.

‘Ati Mare Mati’ a Sanskrit saying which means ‘excessive of anything is wrong’. First cheap internet is provided. Secondly they are kept on internet through apps for almost everything related to governance so people use more internet and than the work for engaging them in social media also done. Please spot violent and hate tendency in people around you and try to help them with facts even if he or she is related to a party ideology. Leave such groups who have an agenda of propagating hate.

For now prayers for those who were killed just for silently praying in their place of worship. #PrayerForNewZealand. #PrayForLynched and pray for social media addicts to get some senses. Good Bye. God Bless New Zealand. God Bless India.

Great India to Hate India!

Great India to Hate India !

Great India to Hate India! What have we done to ourselves and why? In last three and a half years the propagandists have reduced a large population to murderers in the name of religion which has actually nothing to do with it. A Muslim laborer Afrazul Khan from West Bengal was brutally killed by Shambhunath Raiger in Rajsmand district of Rajasthan on issue of so called ‘Love Jihad’. Afrazul was attacked with ax and then burned alive by Shambhunath and his teenage nephew recorded all that was happening along with message of Shambhunath in which he shows no regret for the killing. The video is later circulated shamelessly. Think of his teenage nephew who was filled with so much hate that he can't stopped his uncle but filmed the killing.

Was this done by Shambhunath alone? The answer strangely comes to a big no because this is the result of hate mongering against Muslim population brewing in the name of Love Jihad, outsiders, terrorists, Pakistan agent, Beef eater, cow killer, etc. Both the social media and mainstream media are equally responsible for giving wind to this fire. False news is circulated through facebook and whatsapp group throughout India in a way they appear truth and thus make many believe to this false stories. Sadly many of us do take interest in these stories by further spreading them.

When before last three and a half years you heard about a mob attacking someone for keeping meat in his fridge, or for buying cattle for his dairy business, or drivers killed & hanged just for transporting cows from one place to another, or a boy murdered by a group for wearing a skull cap in train, or this recent one when a Muslim is killed just on suspicion of trying to marry a Hindu girl? Some people/political parties/organizations are trying to make you murders and you are becoming one as mutely being a spectator to all this nonsense is also equals to supporting the brutality. Invoking incidents/personalities of the past which has no one seen and which cannot be changed someone is snatching a beautiful present from you plus not letting you to think about the glorious future we all can make together as Indians.

Here counting Muslim contributions to India will also make me believe that Muslims are outsiders and did something great for the country they came while the truth is that Muslims are as much part of India as anyone else and what they did was their duty. Ignoring debates on poverty, farmers’ issues, Dalit issues, education, healthcare, police reforms will only worsen the situation of the country. By neglecting them we can hide from them but can’t solve them.

Again hoping against hope that people like Shambhunath will think about their family if not for nation before thinking of committing such crime. Till then GOD BLESS INDIA.

Deshdrohi

Deshdrohi

Right now NIT Srinagar has more security personnel than any other educational institution in India. Some reports says that there is one army man for two students. People outside don't really know what is happening or has happened inside because media is not allowed in the campus. Bandwidth is also lowered in campus premises so students wouldn't send their videos outside through social networking sites. Nothing is actually clear but a large part of the country still knew that some Deshbhakhts/Nationalists/Patriots who were chanting Bharat Mata Ki Jay by carrying National Flag were beaten by some Deshdrohis/Anti-national/Traitors and also by J &K police. Thanks to what's app messenger service the country is divided this time into Kashmiris and Non - Kashmiris.

Since media is not allowed in NIT Campus none of us have confirmed reports about what has happened on the night India lost to West Indies and on the night when India defeated Pakistan in T20 World Cup Tournament. Some unconfirmed reports said that some Non-Kashmiri students teased Kashmiri students for Pakistan's defeat which prompted them to celebrate India's defeat in the semi final stage which lead to tussle between both the parties. This outrage increased during students' protest against the administration for not hearing some demands of students. It was then administration called police which attacked students with force, national flag was also taken by police which students were using in demonstration. Political gamblers who are pro in playing with such issues saw this as an opportunity to put oil in the already heated debate of Bharat Mata Ki Jay.

There is a pattern in all university tussles whether it is Hyderabad University, Jawaharlal Nehru University and now National Institute of Technology, Srinagar that a mere protest against university management by the students was curbed with force and the students who retaliate in response to violence were labeled as anti-nationals. It all appeared organised because as soon as the violence irrupted a group of social media rioters were ready to set the course of debate. Some of us who take all what's app and facebook messages as Words of The Book gets trapped in their clutches and help them to promote animosity among our fellow countrymen. None of them questions the role of university management even HRD ministry issue statements without confirmed reports and discussion with the university management.

The students who were beaten by police when narrated the incident to officials of HRD ministry not said that they were beaten for chanting Bharat Mata Ki Jay while there are incidents elsewhere in the country where people attacked for not chanting this phrase. For god's sake never react on social media rumors. It has caused Muzaffarnagar Riot, ignited Dadri incident, made terrorist out of JNU students, brought Bangladeshi migrants in a Dentist's killing and triggered many other big and small incidents. We have to look and understand the politics behind it. In all university tussles 'Left' ideology is the main target. Why? Because two poll bound states out of five namely Kerala and West Bengal have clear fight between Left and others. Assam also has Left's presence so by abusing this ideology BJP can polarize the voters to favor them.

On pretense of NIT Srinagar incident Kashmiri students who are studying in other parts of the country are threatened for dire consequences. 16 Kashmiri students were suspended in Mewar University, Rajasthan for fight over T20 match. All that is happening is not right for Kashmir issue. This will increase the feelings of alienation among them which would turn them towards currently increasing separatist ideology. It is difficult to end this post on a positive note so good bye and just take good care of yourselves.

What The Black

What The Black

What the black is no more a secret. It is new Colgate Slimsoft Charcoal toothbrush. It is a first black bristles toothbrush which reach deeper between teeth and along gum-line with micro-slim tip bristles which are charcoal infused to remove plaque bacteria. Everything from egg shell to newspaper, from cup tissue paper were turning black because the tooth brush turned black.

I would like to thank blogadda and Colgate for such an interesting and engaging activity. I haven't feel such excitement during any contest period. I am lucky to be among the selected bloggers for this activity. Three days and three clues to solve the mystery, it appears as a plot of a suspense novel. I guessed it something related to mornings but cup confused me to think that it is some coffee or some other morning hot beverage. At this point I also want to salute the whole team behind this contest for delivering packages everyday to large number of bloggers situated at different ends of the country. The prompt delivery of the clue products was an essential element of this activity and all the fun, thrill and excitement of it depended on this humongous task which was performed superbly.I also liked the idea of sharing pictures of clues on Twitter and Facebook to involve our friends and followers too in this activity. I enjoyed doping that and receiving responses of others on these platforms.

Colgate is the household name in India and many parts of the world from many years , we all used its products for oral hygiene. Time to time Colgate brings different and innovative products according to the changing demands and requirements of the masses. This product is also an example of that, soft on gums but equally effective in removing food particles hidden between our teeth. The introduction of this product in such a way was responsible for creating buzz around for it. Many friends of mine are waiting for Colgate Slimsoft Charcoal toothbrush's availability in the market while I have started using it thanks to BlogAdda and Colgate.

Fragrant Oman

Fragrant Oman

Oman is a prehistoric nation which is a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. From caves of stone age and bronze age in Dereaze located in the city of Ibri to the modern day Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque,Oman has everything to vow the variety of tourists. From being part of tales of Arabian nights to now being part of award functions and film promotions Oman has evolved tremendously in catering every one's need.

Jabel Shams mountain,Jabreen castle, the Bimmah sinkhole,Wadi Bin Khalid,Wahiba sands (also known as Sharqiya sand) famous for sand dunes for SUV dune bashing and night camping at Desert Night Camps, Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Alkasfah spring,Bandar Khayran Reserve,Turtle Reserve at Ras Al Jinz, beautiful city of Muscat, the list went on and on and on for the things to experience in Oman. The luxurious hotels and priceless hospitality offered by Oman is the requirement of every travel enthusiast. But what attracted me the most in Oman is its Salalah region.

This region in southern Oman receives a blessing from nature that no other region in Arab Gulf is fortunate to
experience - the monsoon locally known as Kharif,it drapes the desert with a blanket of green and brings the temperatures tumbling down transforming wadis into a verdant paradise. The lush greenery that one witnesses in Salalah during the Kharif season( June to September) is comparable to the greenery of southeastern India giving Salalah the title of ‘Kerala of the Middle East.’ Who wouldn't like to experience a green desert but another unique thing of this region which captivates me more is frankincense due to my love of perfumes.

Frankincense is the aromatic resin of the Boswellia tree, which grows in southern Arabia, northern Africa and India. From Biblical times, it has been regarded as a precious substance and various books of the Bible are replete with mentions describing it as such. Frankincense is used in perfumery and medicine. The Omani researcher and historian, Abdul Qadir bin Salim Al Ghassani, mentions in his bookDhofar, the Land of Frankincense that Alexander the Great had imported huge quantities of incense from Arab lands.Even today Omani perfumes are exported throughout the world and are admired for their fragrance and quality.

Some sources also suggest that frankincense was used round the throne of King Solomon as incense. Legend holds that when Emperor Nero’s wife died, the Emperor burned the equivalent of the whole of southern Arabian peninsula’s yield of frankincense. In the present time, frankincense is used at the Vatican in Rome.Wadi Dawkah, with its resident frankincense trees, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I would like to visit that place to see frankincense and hold them in my hands to experience that royalty and divinity associated with it. I have read about frankincense honey and ice-cream available in local markets there which I would love to taste.

It is not wrong to say about Oman that 'beauty has an address'. Apart from the beauty bestowed by nature in Oman the friendly and peaceful nature of Omanis is what that wins one's hearts as I learned from a facebook friend of mine working there. Surely a place to be placed at top of the list while planning for a foreign holiday.

Nature's Friend

Nature's Friend

We all are part of nature as nature is part of us. In today's fast paced life when we are leaving in concrete jungles where we just see patches of greenery as decorative material ,title of my post is not justified. Nature's Friend? Are we? I think the most answers we will get for this question is no. The reasons are told many times and by many people. Rapid urbanization provide less opportunity to enjoy nature.Years ago when we city people have roots in our villages then we used to have chances to be in nature's lap during children's vacation . With latest trends that routine has also became a thing of the past. Now vacations are laden with homework and projects thus outings are limited to shopping at the mall or movie watching or a visit to amusement park.

When my sisters' children visit our home,I found them indulged in video games or cartoons. My niece who haven't reached two also enjoys only television and mobile touching in her father's phone or my phone. That's why I dropped the idea to write about this contest by kissan because I don't have such experiences and children around me are indoorians ( those who enjoy being indoors) but an incident few days ago changed my perception.

My niece while watching a photograph in her father's phone stretched her arms to be caught by someone in that photograph who was standing in a farm. She cried to be at that place in the photo which took our attention to her. She reacted in the same way when other photographs of that place from some one's vacation ( Facebook pics of my brother's friend) was shown to her. She was never been to such a place which is green, full of plants and trees, some photos were showing their interactions with farm animals. We laughed at her behavior. Next day my brother decided to take her to a nearby park, she enjoyed a lot among plants, she ran to catch butterflies ( my brother took photographs of her but I will show them only when she would give me permission). This was her first interaction with nature and a lovely one I should say, her father brought her forcefully from there.

I will repeat my first line again that we all are part of nature as nature is part of us. It was nature inside her which filled her with so much joy when in its company for the first time. She now go to the park daily with her father which have also initiated health consciousness in my brother. He walked in park as she play around ( I am still lazy though and prefer to sleep at that time of the morning). We are now planning to experience nature in these summer holidays when my sisters' children will also at home.

We have separated nature from our life. Cold drinks have taken places of fresh fruit juices, canned fruits have replaced fresh fruits, some of us don't even know how some fruits and vegetables look, so how will we tell about them to children? They learn about them only from textbooks. The charm of full moon light is alien to today's children. Everywhere ,everything is artificial ,the essence of real is missing. Like Kissan  I also believe that happy childhoods are best nurtured by true friendship and an environment that is 100% real. It's time we start nurturing those happy childhoods with children around us by giving them everything which is made up of things which are 100% real and natural like Kissan Tomato Ketchup. Let them connect to nature by indulging them in planting a seed or watering the plants and things like that.

Vote For India With Social Mobile Apps

Vote For India With Social Mobile Apps

'AAP Effect' in Delhi assembly elections of 2013 is no longer a secret. They won 28 seats there, not only that they have their presence felt all over the country with online campaigns through Facebook and other social networking sites. Narender Modi's social media management remains an issue with his opposers who criticize him for spending huge amount of money in that but his followers on twitter,Facebook ,his blog are enough to calculate the effect of his social media management, these are the people who might provide numbers in his rallies.Congress's top leader always maintains a distance with social media which created their distance with the masses.

Today whether it's a new product launch,a film promotion or even promotions of one's self the first medium which comes in mind is social media like Facebook, and twitter, these sites are easily accessible through their  mobile apps which is further increasing their reach. Other mobile apps like Whats App, We Chat, Line, etc are also gaining popularity because they are free and easy to use.

Owing to their mass usage and easy accessibility these apps can become a good source to spread any message of concern to the nation like in mobilizing the youth to vote. App like We Chat which introduces interesting emoticons on various occasions ( Sachin Tendulkar's Farewell, Dhoom - 3 promotional Aamir Khan's emoticons,Varun and Parineeti's emoticon, etc.) has a great connect with the youth, emoticons to encourage people to vote will surely help in spreading the word. Official accounts of superstars, organisations such as election commission, politician, famous celebrities, etc if promote any cause its effect will be more than any other way of promotion.

Group culture of these apps offer a very good platform for discussion about various issues among group members,it will remove misconceptions in some cases regarding some issues,an individual can also clear his doubts about any candidate or party by putting it forward in group discussions. Opinion sharing can become a useful weapon to inspire to vote.

We can inspire others to vote by sharing images of people at polling stations, images of ink mark on our own fingers and news of voting percentages. I have tried this in assembly elections of Delhi, sharing image of my ink mark on various groups in social mobile apps which boosted my friends to vote. If fake videos can result in communal violence by mobilizing people to fight than why not the good videos can mobilize the youth to do good and to vote for their better future. When one see a video of an elderly person going to vote or a physically challenged person or an ill person his/her confidence increases and this will definitely compel them to vote.

Today's time is the time of marketing, how you present yourselves and in what frequency determines the rate of success. If we see any social message,a picture,a person or a thing again and again chances for us to forget that thing, that date or that message becomes negligible. Take example of the movie Ra.One for instance out of the box marketing by Shah Rukh Khan helped in gaining profit from otherwise crashed project. Social mobile apps just plays the same role they let you not to forget important dates, important events, etc.

There are more than 160 Loksabha seats in India where social mobile apps user surpasses the total number of voters in that area according to the survey conducted by IRIS Knowledge Foundation and Internet and Mobile association of India that means campaigning through this medium could swing the results in any body's favor. Mobile phone subscribers in India have reached 875.48 million as of Oct. 2013 out of which close to 400 million are smart phone users. I think this data is enough to show the potential of this platform.

Information of polling stations, manifesto of political parties, criminal background of any candidate, portfolio of your areas candidate, works done by sitting M.P.etc, all can be shared and made public through social mobile apps. These apps actually reaches to the voter, so their role in mobilizing them to vote in coming General Elections of 2014 can never be underestimated.

She picked that book and turned to page no 67. Rajiv mentioned that page when she asked how he could love her so much without seeing her during a Facebook conversation. It reads:

" Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye - H. Jackson Brown Jr."

She called him and said " I love you too."
