Anti-National Tiranga

 Anti-National Tiranga

New Delhi, October 17, 2026: The arrest of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke and the detention of other protesters during a march to display the Indian national flag have sparked a debate over freedom of expression and the right to peaceful protest in India. It has also raised the question on the use of national flag 'Tricolor' or 'Tiranga' which Delhi Police said was against the flag code of India.

On Friday, October 16, Dipke was detained by Delhi Police ahead of the “Lehra Do Tiranga” march at Connaught Place. The protest was organised after two CJP activists, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, were arrested and sent to five days of judicial custody following a demonstration involving the unfurling of the Tricolour at Jantar Mantar. According to reports, Dipke was subsequently arrested, while All India Students’ Association (AISA) president Neha Bora was also detained.

The march was intended to protest against the arrest of the activists and to demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over allegations of irregularities in the revision of electoral rolls. Government, Election Commission and ruling party BJP again activated their defensive and denial mode instead of accepting the mistakes. These irregularities were reported in many states. Prime Minister Narendra Modi instead of protecting Gyanesh Kumar should engage in a conversation with protesters and opposition on the issue of SIR (Special Intensive Revision).

On the other hand Delhi Police on order of Home Minister Amit Shah has denotified Jantar-Mantar as designated protest site further causing dissatisfaction among protesters on the egoistic approach of the government.Since when peaceful protest has become illegal. We have seen the similar approach on protest earlier by the government during Anti-CAA protest,Farmers Protest, Paper Leak Protest, etc. While the peaceful protesters were detained on 10th October, right wing goons were seen harassing and attacking the protesters in police protection. They were not detained or stopped even when some independent journalist objected to their action.

Government should learn that police brutality is not the answer to peaceful protest in a democracy. Narendra Modi or his advisors should start engaging with the problems instead of running away or denying them. Removing opposition voters from electoral roll and neglecting many other issues related to common people are also increasing dissatisfaction among their core voters. I hope some sense prevail among government, Delhi Police and Gyanesh Kumar.

Gyanesh It's Done Bro

 Gyanesh It's Done Bro

"Gyanesh, It's Done Bro" is among the famous slogans of protesters against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar over allegations of rigging the SIR (Special Intensive Revision) to favor the ruling government, BJP. The controversy intensified after reports that Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi had raised objections on multiple occasions over decisions connected with the SIR, voter additions and deletions, and the Commission's technology systems. The Indian Express reported at least 14 instances of recorded objections over a period of about 10 months.

Recently, SIR in Bengal before the state assembly elections resulted in the deletion of around 63 lakh voters at one stage of the process. More than 90% of the appeals that had been disposed of reportedly resulted in voters being included in the voter list again. This has also raised doubts among critics about the impact of SIR on the BJP's victory in the state. Earlier, the Leader of the Opposition had also raised questions about such discrepancies in Haryana, Maharashtra, and Karnataka SIRs. Interestingly, all these SIRs happened just before the state elections.

Protests demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar have intensified across India, with demonstrations in Delhi and Mumbai and growing participation from youth groups, opposition parties, student organisations, and civil-society activists. The government's response towards protesters and BJP ministers presenting their views in support of the CEC also raises doubts among the masses. A new law made in 2023, giving legal protection to the CEC in relation to acts done in the discharge of official duty, has also raised concerns among vigilant citizens about the government's intention of protecting the CEC from public scrutiny even after his retirement.

The latest demonstrations on October 2 and 3 saw hundreds of people detained in Delhi, while thousands gathered in Mumbai. Protesters have accused the Election Commission of creating conditions in which legitimate voters could lose their right to vote and have repeatedly raised the slogan demanding that Gyanesh Kumar step down.

Earlier this year, on July 20–21, the nation witnessed police action against students demanding Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation, and this time also, police are trying to stop protesters from entering Jantar Mantar, where they planned to protest. Why is the government against protests and discussions? Why has the BJP IT cell started labeling protests as foreign-funded and anti-national? Why does Narendra Modi never speak on issues concerning the nation? Why does the Indian media just present the government's perspective and telecast news in line with the government's position instead of reporting neutrally or critically about the government?

I hope the government, especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi, would take steps to ensure people's trust in the Election Commission of India by taking necessary steps, such as repealing the law giving legal protection to the CEC, changing the selection process for electing the CEC, reviewing the SIR, addressing protesters as fellow Indians rather than anti-government protesters, and finally asking Gyanesh Kumar to resign.

Achche Din Kab Aur Kaise Aayenge?

Achche Din Kab Aur Kaise Aayenge?

He seems sleeping on all the issues.

I remained critical about the way Narendra Modi government functions not because I don’t like him but the way he works and working for the country. In science WORK DONE is calculated by multiplying FORCE with DISTANCE (W = FD) which means the amount of work done is known by seeing the effect of the force applied in changing something. If we judge his work done on this simple formula we saw he has done nothing which has brought drastic change in the country or in its people.

Let’s look at few of his pet projects.

  1.  Swach Bharat: Swach Bharat is repackaging of Manmohan Singh’s Nirmal Bharat with more emphasis on photo op and publicity. But still as I walk in the capital of the country I can see garbage all around and if this is the case with the Metro city we can judge the situation of rest o of the country. The condition of the people who are responsible for cleanliness has not improved. There jobs are still on contract basis. There is no one questioning their work done. So unless these things would be considered this will remain a dream.
  2.  Economy: He says he will bring ‘Achche Din’ or good days to the people but his most    important steps of improving economy of the country namely Demonetization and Goods & Service Tax (GST) has done nothing for the uplift of economy. Demonetization didn’t bring back Black Money, didn’t stop terrorism and naxalism, didn’t stop fake currency and neither brought assurance to common people that there money is safe in banks. GST on the other hand reduced taxes for the big corporate but put small businessman in trouble by increasing their cost of production.
  3. Corruption: The biggest issue of ‘Na Khaunga Na Khanedunga’ also failed when he said nothing on running away of people like Vijay Mallaya, Mehul Choksi and Neerav Modi. His silence on Rafale Deal scam is also a question mark on his commitment of curbing corruption. All evidences like bringing in Ambani’s name, reducing aircraft from 126 to just 36, etc are against him and his government but his indifference to the issue of clarifying his stand shows his weakness in dealing with corruption. On many other corruption issues he said just nothing which is irritating.
  4.  Farmers: He spoke many times about farmers’ condition and his commitment to improve this but they are not even allowed to raise their demands by entering into the capital of the country. They were stopped by using force on International Day of Non-Violence. Low MSP, high Diesel price, expensive cost of production all has worsen there condition.
There are more issues like Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas but we have seen crime against Dalits and minorities has increased in his tenure and he is seen following twitter handles that spread hatred for particular caste, community, religion and people with different views. His Rs 15 lac in each account slogan proved mere ‘Jumla’ as accepted by them. Jan Dhan accounts were opened but most of them are empty. Continuous falling of Rupee and increasing of petrol and diesel price daily is also his big failures because he used to criticize Congress government on these issues.

These entire things and his unwanted boosting of self have decreased his influence on me and many others I am seeing around. Reducing every debate to Hindu-Muslim has just increased hatred in people’s mind. I can just say GOD SAVE INDIA.

Ram Tere Naam Par!

Ram Tere Naam Par!

The answer to an opinion should be another opinion!                       – Shashi Tharoor in Parliament

Hai Ram Ke Vajud Pe Hindostan Ko Naaz,
Ahl-e-Nazar Samajhte Hain Is Ko Imam-e-Hind.
- Allama Iqbal
(India is proud of the personality of Lord Ram,
Knowledgeable believe him to be the guiding priest of India.)

Violence instigating blind followers.
These two opening quote and a couplet I think is enough to authenticate my point. The rising intolerance in the name of Lord Ram has not only maligned the image of India in the world but also of Lord Ram who is loved and adored by all irrespective of caste and religion.Today the situation is so worse that anybody who differ in opinion from ruling Bhartiya Janata Party/Rashtriya Swamsewak Sangh and Narendra Modi’s view is termed as traitor who is eligible to die a violent death in the hands of violent blond followers.

The hate and frustration has increased so much that people are not afraid of police system and law if they are inclined to a particular ideology and are always ready to take law in their hand. The extent of mob violence has increased so much that not even police officers are spared from it and the places like Courts which are responsible for protecting the law are also used by mobs to attack people. Even if we forget about the organized mob attack on fake child lifters in Jharkhand,Tripura, Gujarat and Maharashtra how can we justify attack Muslims in the name of cow, on Dalits for keeping mustache or a surname unsuitable to upper caste, on Shashi Tharoor’s office for an opinion shared by him, on Twitter attack on Sushma Swaraj for allowing passport to an interfaith couple, on Swami Agnivesh when he was addressing people in Jharkhand, on Swara Bhaskar for portrayal of a masturbating woman in a Hindi movie, etc.

The list is endless if we started counting from the day Narendra Modi took oath as Prime Minister of India. The reason such incidents are rising is in the silence of Mr Modi on such issues and also in support of BJP/RSS/ABVP of such incidences. You can recall the march by BJP minister and supporters for Kathua and Unnao rape accused. Statements of people like Nitin Gadkari, Griraj Singh Chauhan and Mahesh Giri who all are ministers in the government give rise to such incidents. Who can forget the felicitation of lynch accused by Minister Jayant Sinha. Also the environment of hate created by government ministers and supporters against Muslims, Christians, Dalits and against the people who are different from their expectations has given rise to such incidents.

Lord Ram wouldn’t have allowed such incidents on this pious land nor would he allow misuse of his name by uncontrollable goons. If not government we should make this our priority to regulate social media messages which are precursors to this mob violence by not forwarding unverified news. Together we can and we will make a difference.

Is Lynching India is 'New India' ?

Is Lynching India is 'New India' ?

A new trend of mob lynching has emerged in many Indian states mostly ruled by Bhartiya Janata Party shaping Narendra Modi’s ‘New India’. The idea of India is idea of togetherness, inclusiveness and acceptance but the new India works contrary. In this segregation, hate and intolerance hold the importance. Till now mobs were killing people in the name of cow in various places like in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Rajasthan, some trends of hate crimes also noticed when Muslims, Dalits, Tribals,North East Indians were attacked by group of people. Now the poor and down trodden are attacked by labeling them child lifters.

The dangerous trend is that the online mobs (trolls) have come out in open by instigating people through fake WhatsApp messages to kill innocent people. Even government appointed officer Sukanta Chakraborty was also killed by a mob in the state of Tripura when he was appointed to visit villages and tell people about the fake news. Recently five people were also killed by a mob in Maharashtra on Sunday after rumors spread on social media that they were child traffickers. More than a dozen people have been killed across India since May in violence fueled mainly by messages on the WhatsApp service.

What startled you is that the messages spreading on WhatsApp are almost similar about child trafficking but translated into the local languages of the area where they are circulated. This shows preplanning of such incidents. Sadly all governments are unable to do anything about these incidents. The anger and hate generated through fake social media groups and messages is coming out in the  way of police action as it is difficult to find out the source of the message. People forward fake messages without checking their authenticity and believe that they are true. No one wants that anger filled ‘New India’. How you can call companies in such environment to ‘Make in India’? Is ‘Skill India’ imparting knowledge to gather mobs to kill people? All government schemes will fail if violence will extend to such levels.

The Supreme Court (SC) said in its judgment that mob lynching is a crime no matter what the motive is and added that it is a law and order issue that is the responsibility of state governments. Notably all states which reported such incidents are ruled by BJP and Mr Modi as usual is silent on such an important issue. I request PM Narendra Modi to select issue of ‘Mob Violence’ in this month’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’. He should speak against these crimes in a strong manner to be understood by people. ‘Mob violence’ is nothing but troll culture (which didn’t even spare External Affair Minister Sushma Swaraj ) on streets. PM should start un-following unruly trolls to give a strong message to the nation.

We all should stand and say in one voice that we don’t want such hate filled ‘ New India.

4 Years of Modi

4 Years of Modi

Narendra Modi has completed 4 years in office. There are highs and lows in this period but the most significant changes I have observed has really give way to a New India. An India which is confused in its decision has no jobs neither has money to spend.
  • Muslims and Christians are outsiders they don’t belong to this land and has no right of living here. If they have to stay in this land than they should live as Hindus wants them to live.
  • Dalits has no chance to climb the ladder in any field in the society. There rise is seen as disgrace to upper caste people.
  • Economy (Modinomics) is what BJP and the government ministers told and you don’t have any right to question the government’s intention.
  • Journalist who speak or write against the government will receive death/rape threats by an organized online mob.
  • No person in any position has right to ask anything to the Prime Minister, his schemes, progress of his works, etc. If you do so you are anti-national, traitor, Pakistani agent and BJP will send you to Pakistan.
  • Winning election is everything and you can do anything for that like using corruption money, inviting Jinnah, Nehru and so on.
  • Compromise on corruption whenever your party, your friends, your allies and yourself are involved.
There are many more things which I have mentioned and wrote in many of my posts and I don't want to be repetitive recalling them again and again. The Bhakht culture and the fake news propaganda has started which is giving me vibes that Narendra Modi will return to power in 2019 also and I have no problem with that if the country's growth, harmony and passion not compromised. But our PM is more like an event manager than a task master which is evident from his renaming of UPA era project  to make them his own and his inability to meet his deadlines in projects like Swach Bharat, Namami Gange, etc.

I hope his working in converting India into a Hindu rashtra didn't destroy the idea of India which is of peace, harmony and assimilation.

Na Khaunga Na Khane Dunga

Na Khaunga Na Khane Dunga

How easy is for the rich to fool institutions, governments and even regulatory authority while poor succumb to their pressure? Yes that’s the story of our country where 'Sachai Ki Hamesha Jeet Hoti Hai' (Truth Always Wins) is reserved for the films only. Have you ever heard a rich billionaire committed suicide with his family for non-payment of his bank dues worth crores, no because they know the escape route and the escape agents who escort them to safe heavens for their entire life? The poor laborers and farmers in such circumstances has only one escape route i.e. to end their lives with family and safe themselves from the shame and humiliation for not able to pay the bank dues.

Nirav Modi is the latest in the list of those who fled the country from below the government’s nose after doing a scam of Rs 11,300 crore in collaboration with Punjab National Bank (PNB). He was involved in it from last 7 years in this period government helped PNB with up to Rs 5500 crore. It is an open secret that a scam like this is not possible without involvement of higher officials of the bank and there are possibilities that government agency people are also part of the it. The question is will those responsible for the scam ever get caught? Looking at the conviction to curb corruption of the governments of last 30 years I see little chances of Nirav Modi arrest. Moreover his proximity to current Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi shields him from arrest in the period of ‘Modi Sarkaar’.

The track record of the man who came with the slogan ‘Na Khaunga Na Khanedunga’ (Corruption Free Governance) is not good in convicting corrupt officials and ministers. He can’t even able to punish those people who he promised during his election campaign speeches of 2014 like Robert Vadara, Sonia Gandhi, or other people who have hidden black money abroad, Rs 15 lakh of which must be credited to each Indian's account until now. The so called anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare is in hibernation from last 4 years. His key associate Arvind Kejriwal is reduced to Delhi only after forming a political party and various others like Kiran Bedi, Shazia Ilmi, General V.P.Singh, etc has joined Bhartiya Janata Party. So don’t expect any revolution in near future. Further the current situation is made like an undeclared emergency where anyone against the government policies, views and liking is anti-national and a traitor.

Just be hopeful that future will be better than present and come forward to be part of the change in any way possible. Through writing, painting or voicing your opinion against the wrong you can contribute to a better tomorrow. In the end here is the reminder to not fall in prey to fake Whats App or Facebook messages which divert your attention from real issues to imagined threat to the religion. If any religion that is in danger in today’s world is of Humanity so try to be a better human with each passing day.
